Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Hash Brown Breakfast Cups. I really like one dish meals. It makes things so much easier. This Hash Brown Breakfast Cup is one such recipe. In a single muffin cup you have a brown and crispy hash brown crust, that is filled with ham, sauteed vegetables, melted cheese, and a perfectly cooked sunny side up egg.

  • I actually made these, and added some diced roma tomato in there...substituted the hash browns for shredded potatoes cause its less expensive to do, and changed out the cheddar for gouda and mozz mixed---I can honestly say, this is my go to breakfast! Totally agree with the toast on the side. NOTHING LIKE THIS! CHEAP, EASY breakfast and even in this economy, its a winner!
  • Just found this lady and absolutely love her delivery!🙌❤️👌 Doesn't ramble or talk too much but gives great ideas at the same time!!🙌 I'm hooked!!😁👌❤️🙌

I can't help but notice the shelves to the left & how you stacked your ceramic cast iron pans with their lids- all on there. That is brilliant.
  • I appreciate how you just jump into the recipe without talking about the recipe. Thank you!

My 10 yr. old grandson wanted me to teach him how to cook and so we started searching for simple but GOOD things for him to start with, we saw this and he wanted to do this one. It turned out GREAT and he was SO proud of himself. I think having a good experience to start off with is only going to encourage him to continue cooking. So THANK YOU so much for this.

Beautifully done, awesome 👍. I have been divorced for 5 years now and I have been living with my 85 year old mother for the last 3 years due to her failing health, anyway, I was never really the cook when I was married and now that I have been with mother I've had to do most if not all of the cooking. Mother has guided me and has taught me many of her recipes and to be honest I'm not ashamed to have you over for dinner. My 3 older sisters have also guided me in the kitchen and have graded many of my dishes giving me an A+. So I try to fix different meals for mother so she can occasionally enjoy something different from time to time. She hasn't eaten very well for me in the last several days, we know her illness is progressively worsening, but I have a real good feeling that your hashbrown bowls are going to be a big hit. Thank you for sharing your talent and for showing folks like me how to make delicious dishes to share with our loved ones. I will say a little prayer 🙏 for you and yours.

I really appreciate some of the higher teaching techniques used here. The poster frequently says, "You can use more or less", "as much or as little" or "you can use something else" and so forth. Many cooking students get caught up with the fear of precise measurements and precise ingredients, and the poster's choice of words lessens the anxiety - it also encourages creativity. She also uses terms like, "...so that was easy" which also reassures cooking students. Her use of repetition reinforces the material, and her conversational tone avoids the "I'm the expert" mistake that so many cooking videos have. Many cooking videos have (often unintentionally but not always) a narcissistic tone. Placing a student in the position of being inferior in the process starts them with the mindset that "I can't do this." This video avoids SO many pitfalls that I see in so many cooking videos. I lecture doctoral and masters level students (in a different field) and would use this video (with proper attribution) to point out the excellent instructional methodology. And yes, I tried the recipe and it was delicious! So glad I saw this video! (Edit: I should also point out how pleasant it is not to have distracting background music!)

I bought a 6 jumbo muffin pan to make chicken pot pies last year. I rarely make jumbo muffins and was wondering what else to do with it. Then I stumbled across this recipe. I've seen your recipe demonstrations for years and they are all fantastic! I'm surprised I missed this one, but I'm glad YouTube showed it to me. This is kind of like a breakfast pot pie and it is fabulous. So versatile! You do such a good job of explaining the basics while leaving room for experimentation. I can't believe I never thought to try a hash brown cup with filling. Thank you so much!

I am a homeschooling mom and this year we're doing cooking class via YouTube and I was telling my children I love your way of teaching. That being said, we will be trying a lot of your recipes. This one will be the first one. I will let you know how it goes. God Bless!!

Hi Stephanie! I used to love your channel and I just recently found it and started watching again. I love how you encourage us to tweak the recipes and use the ingredients we prefer! A lot of people improvise and adjust recipes to their taste, so I'm glad you acknowledge this in your channel. Your food is always a 10/10 and your videos are relaxing to watch.

First time viewer. I can’t wait to try this recipe! I love how Stephanie explains the steps and talks about different variations of ingredients. I am subscribing right now and looking forward to watching more of her videos. 🥰

Thank you. I do love the way you talk about the measurements as you cook. I have found a few cooking shows on line lately and I must say I do enjoy yours the most so far. I am 71 now and I still love to cook.

I've tried a lot of recipes I learned from YouTube during this pandemic. I'm American, & I also enjoy listening to the various accents. Love listening to our friends from the north. Thanks!
  • Made this this morning for New Years Day breakfast for my husband and I. OH.MY.GOODNESS!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you so much for sharing. As soon as I saw this last week, it was on my list of things to make :) Your biscotti is next!

Looks extremely yummy! I’d add grated onions to the potatoes and sprinkled granulated onions with the s&p on top of the eggs before putting inti the oven for that final 8-12 minute cook. Like Stephanie says, such a versatile recipe!!

Every few weeks a couple of friends and I go to a live concert, local theatre etc. and finish in one of those eating establishments where everything on the menu tastes exactly the same. You inspired me to cook and bake for my friends instead. Several more friends joined us and contributing their take on your recipes - thank you
  • @ViryMuzav
Your explanations and attention to the details every time you explain something is very well appreciated :) thank you Stephanie
  • I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow morning after watching this video that recipe right there will make anyone want to sit down and eat no matter what is going on in life for sure!! YUMMY

Great video. I just LOVE your delivery. Simple, down to earth, humorous, relatable. These look delicious. I appreciate that you provide both US and metric measurements (not only does this help your video cater to a larger global crowd but also makes it more sophisticated). I also like the way you are very explicit, including giving people permission to make personal variations. I once had a coworker who was eating a salad she had made and commented that she was sorry that it included celery because she hates celery. I asked why she did not omit the celery when she made it and she replied that "the recipe includes celery!" I've subscribed to your channel. Thanks.
