I love how Pres got EVERY tier set from DF baked into either a talent or hero talents. Chrono-warden gets all of them!

This is exactly the kind of video that I’m looking for at this stage in the beta. How do the specs feel to play, what’s fun, what needs improvement. Really insightful for those of us who haven’t had the chance to test a lot - thanks!

Resto shaman for 9 years, no reason to change now 😂😂😂

Preservation would be my #1 if it wasn't for the range limitation. I reckon they should just give us the +5yard talent that they gave to augmentation. We would still have less range than other healers and blizzard could say they kept the "theme". I think 5yards would make all the difference.

Absolutely agreed on great changes to hpal. Hpal felt bad in late dragonflight bc spenders felt unusually weak deapite them being resource spenders that you pool. Im glad it became more MELEE again and I am looking forward to playing lightsmith and its buffs because the meters shown so far in videos made the cd feel like ashen hallow 2. Really forward to it.

Hi Madz, another helpful video appreciate all your videos! -my mains (campfire 4) are in order 1) Preservation 2) Holy Paladin 3) Resto Shaman and 4) Mistweaver. After playing all of these on beta and testing I have the most fun with these and Pres Chrono feels so good. -I knew you were going to pick the healers you did! -Pres range needs to be adjusted to fall in line with all other healers. To have a restriction there has to be a benefit and with other healers have good throughput or better it seems this restriction needs to go. Solution: make empowered spells have the range restriction and all other heals normal range. Super easy fix and good compromise. I agree with all of what you said which was insight and helps other viewers for sure. The good thing is all these have dps alt specs to mix it up. Lastly, resto shaman feels really really good and to me it might even be tied for 2nd with Holy Paladin due to the utility because totemic and capacitor totem just feels too good in groups.

That 30y range is a crying shame it still exists. Give Pres 40y on their targeted heals (echo, reversion, blossom, spirit bloom, living flame) and it will get 50% more representative over night.

Even now on DF S4 i have been using Hpally as a melee healer (also change the blessing for the healing aura) and im having a blast and almost no hardcast. As a casual player (doing m +7-+12 and heroic raid) the amount of healing is really decent and fun for this aspect of the game. So hype for the lightsmith pally!

I feel the same way about pres-voker, played in S3 of dragon flight. I love love loved it. The play style is the best in the game right now (for me). But after a while of having to chase down the hunters who have happy feet ( you know you do it lol ) I just got to the point that I realized that no one is used to thinking about placement with preservation. I knew it was very possible, but the toon got parked. Sad really it’s so fun to play. Also I don’t know what I’m going to play yet. I’m stuck. XD

I am jumping on that holy paladin hype!! I have main ret for so long I'm just tired of the dps role

In Dragonflight season 2 I became a main healer (DPS before) and I choose Discipline Priest (and a little bit of Holy) and I found my calling as a healer after 19 years.🤣In tail end of season 3 and into season 4 I dabbled in Resto Shaman. Which is my main going into War Within. I had so much more fun with it. Discipline is fun but requires slightly more brainpower although you already need more brainpower to heal than dps. 😅So main is resto with my Priest taking up second place. In Pandaria Remix I made a Monk and Druid and out of those 2 I like Mistweaver more so that's my third spot. :D

@MadSkillzzTV what are your thoughts on Rdruid for M+? I'm hearing that Wildstalker is pretty bad compared to Keeper of the Grove in terms of healing so might not be good for pugs. Any other insights from your testing?

Do you consider transmog when choosing a healer?

The Evoker range limitation single handedly stopped me from maining Evoker. It’s a damn shame, cause I really like Dev and Pres otherwise.

Still haven't decided on what I'm playing in TWW. Ele is looking pretty hot atm. As far as healers go, I'd have to say Resto Sham, HPal and Mistweaver are my top 3 picks.
