That amount of snow is both awe-inspiring and terrifying.

2:56 That is so wild. The snow drifts over the cars make it look like Dolphins are jumping out of the water. So awesome.

God bless the states! From México with love

Remember the "I survived the blizzard of 77 T-shirts"?

Great drone shots. Thanks for the upload. I have friends in Buffalo for funeral today. I hope they are getting around okay.

I haven't seen this amount of snow since the 70's in our area.🇨🇦😂🤣 On one hand it looks beautiful to see, I'm sure the children will love it!, however this is a lot to clear away!😂 Take good care of your health in doing so everyone. And be careful building snow forts and tunnels, have fun stay safe. God bless.🙏🌞

I remember those days in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. It was so fun for the kids. But a lot of hard work for the adults. Blessings. Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦

My heart and prayer go out to all the families affected. Hope everyone keeps safe!

Great thing is, it's not even winter yet! If lake Erie doesn't freeze over, this could keep going.

What an absolutely amazing compilation of footage from such a historic snowfall! Very intriguing
-
This is the best footage I have seen yet. Serene and surreal

I lived up in Pennsylvania years ago and I remember how deep the snow was praying that everyone be safe God bless

The last time I experienced something similar was in December 2004 in Vitebsk, Belarus. The snowfall was so heavy back then that you could hardly see the street from the 7th floor. However, there was no traffic chaos, because when the first flakes fell, the clearing vehicles were already on their way. About 1 meter of fresh snow fell during the night and the next morning even the footpaths were almost all cleared and passable.

What great coverage this is. I'm in Buffalo but I haven't been able to get to the southtowns where it was really bad to get a good look at it myself. But watching this is just like being there. Except better because I don't have to actually be there .

Fantastic work. The shot at the 10:56 mark with the boys shoveling snow off the roof was jaw dropping. Amazing weather and great footage.

Some great shots there. What gets me with this is how localized it can be. We were at Niagara Falls one day when Buffalo got over three feet of snow. We didn't get any. We were in a hotel in Batavia NY the previous night and got out around 7:30am to head to the falls. We saw a little snow when we turned off I90 but it soon stopped. We spent a few hours on the US side then crossed to Canada for the rest of the day and stayed in a hotel overlooking the falls. In the morning we could see there was some snow down to the south, but very little sign of it where we were. Heading north through Toronto to Ottawa we didn't get any more. Lake effect snow is just freaky. At least it doesn't happen all winter.
