I stopped my big truck in Batesville,MS about 60 miles south of Memphis. After watching this video I thank the LORD I did.🙏🏻

Can't overestimate enough how truckers are appreciated for what they do specially in this kind of weather.

Thank you to all the truck drivers who risk driving in these awful conditions. You guys keep us fed and warm.

A big hi-five for the air-drone pilot for well describing this iced road curve. Super surveillance w/the up close shootings. Thks for the vid.
  • @zalmaflash
The drone operator (camera) did an excellent job.:trophy-yellow-smiling:
  • Dispatchers aren’t driving, there comes a time to park your truck! Been there done that!

I haven’t left my house in now six days. I’ve never been so happy I had stocked up supplies along the year. Every time I went to the store I got an extra cans of chili and extra cans of cat food. I knew others that had to be out didn’t need the extra traffic! Bless everyone who had to be and got out and helped!

Really crystal clear drone footage. Like being there. 👍

Thank you to all truck drivers, emergency vehicles & workers, tow drivers & anyone who has to travel on dangerous road conditions.

I can't believe that this would not be the first place salt or sand would be dumped. I really feel for these people. My heart was beating fast during the semi incident. Poor guy.
  • Excellent footage, especially that drone footage! I appreciate the work you do to bring us these videos, safe travels!👍👍

Gotta appreciate the drone flying so well in that weather.

This is almost as good as watching a boat ramp on a Saturday 😂
  • So sorry for all these truck drivers out there in these horrible conditions, trying to make a living for their families . 🙏🙏

For those that don't know, the cloverleaf ramp is at the intersection of Crump Boulevard and I-55 As Crump goes west It becomes I-55 North and crosses the "Old" river bridge that opened in 1949. This cloverleaf feeds I-55 north traffic onto the westbound bridge. Notice that it currently has two-way traffic on it. They are also routing southbound traffic on this loop from traffic eastbound on crump from the bridge onto southbound I-55 . They are rebuilding this interchange to get rid of the cloverloops and connect I--55 directly to the bridge.. This interchange was built in the mid 1960s and has been a pain for a long time. It is supposed to be finished in early 2025. (Observing this from South Florida where it is 75 degrees)

I am amazed at how some cars, suvs and trucks can go right through and others are slipping and sliding all over. The best car I ever had in snow was a Plymouth Horizon it was like a mountain goat, never got stuck in that car ever, even when we had 2 feet of snow.

The pickup truck getting stuck was the best. The blue car with winter tires drove right on by, weird how that works!

I really feel for those guys in the semi-trucks. It's hard enough to make a living out there without losing time on the ice.
