I know this song got leaked around a year ago but this is my first time listening to it because I know Mel didn't want us to hear it yet but for the people that have listened to it before and were excited when it was getting released, I can see why you guys were excited this song is a masterpiece.

I think TUNNEL VISION represents the way women are viewed. Melanie sings about how women are sexualized, also singing about how she won’t let herself be used for sex. Melanie believes that if you’re in a relationship with someone, they should genuinely like you in every way. She expresses that shes fine with having sex, but not if shes only being used for sex.

This song is similar to The Contortionist but Melanie is saying to know your self-worth and empowerment. This song states how someone is confident in themselves and refuses to be objectified for someone else’s pleasure. The lyrics also suggest that you shouldn’t settle for anything less than you deserve. Melanie is such a genius with these meanings 💗🕯️🫶🏼

3:16 is probably the part i think about the most in this song. something about how this feels so dramatic. it feels as if you"re falling through a broken window in slow motion and seeing the glass shards flying past you everywhere. It feels so satisfying

I'm so glad I don't listen to leaks because it's so much more rewarding or better in a sense to hear it from Melanie herself. It's so much better to wait and be patient.
