I'm indigenous myself and have lost many sisters to the grasp of disgusting men. This song makes me feel empowered, just to imagine letting all of those men drown in vengeance of our stolen sisters. Even in unfortunately regular cases of non-MMIW misogyny, it's still impactful. Women are expected to nurture and baby men, even if they abuse us. When we fight back, we are only seen as "monsters."

In the middle of the video or so,it's a uhumanly voice saying "YOU JUST LET THEM DROWN" AND melanies first song,Cry baby has a line "You just let then drown" AND THAT MATCHES COMPLETLY the cry baby meaning is to let the people making fun of you drown in your tears and in this music it's to let the other peoples(manly the boys whit swords) to drown. It's completely the same but different people.
