    How will the big states on Earth decide to share the resources from other planets or moons? Will we have wars on Earth over those resources like we already do and destroy our planet before getting to use them?

    Why not have robots controlled from Earth instead of live astronauts? No need for food and oxygen and operators on Earth could run the robots 24/7 instead of cosmonauts needing to sleep.

    Everyone is ambitious, however the main objective of the big firms or entrepreneurs is to make profits as soon as possible. It will be a great success for humanity if we could bring the raw materials we need from other planets as well as keeping earth safe for the next generations.

    The one good thing about the Moon is that everyone who goes there, will need to have a spiritual orgy with all other visitors. It is so depressing on the lunar surface, that Earthbound politics will become absolutely non existent, up there. All astronauts will open up to each other by sheer emotional need.
