Some of the features highkey are kinda awesome like, grabbing and stacking mobs on your head, throwing blocks at stuff and it doing damage, using chicken to glide and fly, these are all things that could make for a fun little mod to actual, regular, inventory-having Minecraft.

l really appreciate how they didnt just delete inventory and called it a day,, they also added a lot of related-but-not-immediately-obvious features like stacking and hovering etcc. Really outstanding

Wow, Minecraft keeps managing to 1-up itself for April Fools! From locked chests and a fake microtransaction screen, to infinite "dimensions", to now completely revitalizing the gameplay! Absolutely insane. And honestly if it weren't for the one use tools and the single space inventory, this would be a really fun version to play!

Ironically the no inventory feature makes the game more realistic.

I just tried this for a bit myself, and about 10 minutes in I tamed a horse, and was able to open it's inventory. It was kinda strange after all the messing around throwing things the whole time. also I found out that sheep get sheared when you throw them and if you throw wool at them they regain it.

I want this game mode to get a competitive speedrun. It’s so hilarious, and has so much potential for unique and crazy strategies.

I'm not gonna lie, they put in a lot of detail in this update. You could still craft, smelt, etc - but just one block at a time. Who woulda thought?

This is how companies should do April Fools. Not by announcing a product in some lazy obviously fake way Not by promising a feature people have been wanting for a while But by making a product which is tangible yet is used in a joking manner. Huge props to the devs for making this a thing.

I know it's an april fools mod, but the ridable dragon gives me hope that maybe the dragon egg will have a similar use in future updates

I gave this update a try after seeing how you completed it and managed to do it in about 8 hours, and it was the most fun I've had playing Minecraft in YEARS. Keep on doing what you do, you glorious maniac.

i remember someone saying that the april fools updates are mojang with no restrictions from microsoft. as much as i love to join in on the "mojang is lazy" meme, the real enemy seems to be microsoft. they are absolutely capable of making something genuinely fun, but are forced to do things that will please investors. this video really made me kinda sympathise with mojang a lot more. they are not evil or lazy, but they are under tyrannical rule from microsoft.
