Whew! This was supposed to go up in very early April, before the eclipse, but life had other plans. Let's just pretend my fictional world had a second wind of winter and spring is now arriving very, very late. This original song of mine is meant to capture the feeling of the very beginning of spring, right when the blossoms are appearing on the trees, when some trees are bare, some have blossoms, and others are just budding. This original composition is done in a traditional spring style like I'd done for years, meant to evoke the energy of it right at the beginning of spring. This piece takes place after the spring thaw, other than a few stubborn snowpiles, spring is fully here, but the weather still feels a bit autumnlike and not that stereotypical spring warmth. This song is similar to others you may have heard, but I'm kind of taking the concept of a half-foliage in early November fall setting and applying that to spring where half of the trees remain bare. It's been a weird month with the snow vlog, the eclipse vlog, and that Easter video. That said, I have more spring videos and songs on the way, even though I'm kind of falling behind with spring music. Well, as the old saying goes, shit happens. I'll get caught up soon enough. I usually do all the pastels in April and light green in May. We might see a few transitionary settings this year that I hadn't before. I hope you like this song!
