Someone once said the drainage system is the conscience of a city.
  • Oh but Toronto has billions to spend on renaming Dundas st and Young&Dundas square ... but money for infrastructure upgrades ?
  • @LuckyTown77
Always believed eliminating tributaries to the lake would eventually be problematic.

The streets are pretty much built to flood here in this city lol. Lots of depressions in the road where literal pools form in softer rains.

Who took the money for the maintenance and upgrade of Toronto's infrastructure?

Salute to the city workers and utility workers who are working hard in these conditions to fix the issues

Who would of thought having so little grassy areas in a huge city and horrible drainage systems could cause this 😂

The rain will go away but the drama and stupidity that is Toronto remains relentless. 😅

I am surprised that she didn't ask for extra funding from the provincial or federal government...
  • I live downtown and thankfully work from home. I knew it was raining but I had no idea it was this bad. Fortunately we never lost power!! I also had one client cancel a visit because she was still stuck in the floods...

1:00 I know I am finding humour in the wrong place, but there is just something too funny about how grumpy those BMW's look while submerged! 😅😂
  • Olivia Chow: “I was too busy spending $600k on renaming Dundas Square to invest in anything important like the antiquated, rotting infrastructure of Toronto”.

I knew Drake was going to cry... but this is a bit much dude.

It's remarkable that anyone would be driving in a torrential downpour 😮

i'm thinking therre used to be a creek there instead of a highway. Maybe we should have let it serve its purpose???
