Bill O’Reilly sits down with Jon Stewart, despite their differing ideologies, to discuss his new book “Confronting the Presidents.” The two talk about political fanaticism following the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, whether we’re experiencing a unique time of polarization, the danger of monetizing anger and hate speech, and debating the real-life consequences of the 2024 election in good faith. #DailyShow #JonStewart #BillOReilly

oh, the irony of Bill O'Reilly lamenting the horrors of profiting off anger and misinformation

“The corporate media heighten everything.” - Bill O’Reilly 😂
  • Bill O’Reilly, who called an abortion provider “Tiller the baby killer” on air 24 times until that doctor was gunned down at church service in front of his family, is going to talk about bringing the rhetorical heat down a notch?!?
  • Bill O’Reilly is the WORST person to deliver the message that “we need to take the rhetoric down a notch.” What a hypocrite.
  • @skatealex1
Bill O Reilly one of the OG Fox propagandists
  • @2007cgarza
Nope. O'Reilly talks out of both sides of his mouth while pointing his narcissistic finger in faces, don't need it.
  • Bill O'Reilly is not a journalist. Credit to John for pointing that out.
  • Remember when we thought O'Reilly was the craziest guy Fox News had to offer? Boy those feel like simpler times in retrospect.
  • @mst3kpimp
its so cute how john made it seem like bill wrote his own books.

Seeing O’Reilly on Jon Stewart’s show takes me back to the early 2000s

The problem with Bill O’Reilly, besides his cherry picking old statistics, is that he says he wants to have open, honest conversations, but then you have to pretend like he’s not a Donald Trump supporter. ‘Oh no. I’m a registered independent.’ who has supported, supports, and will continue to support Donald Trump. But we have to play the semantic game because he thinks it makes him intellectually superior. He’s not. And his game is old.

Bill’s arrogance is eye watering. How is he still a thing at all? Legit question. Only entitled men like him can just ignore what a danger trump is to women and minorities.

I find it incredibly hard to believe Bill, who is part of the reason we have hateful rhetoric in this country, even believes his own words as he states we need to stop the hateful rhetoric.
  • The inventor of hateful rhetoric wants to stop the hateful rhetoric???

I blame Bill O'Reilly for the world we live in, but not for the reason you think. In the old days, we had people who would report the news. They were called Journalists, they told you what happened, and left it up to you to figure what to think about it. Then came along Editorialist, who came on after the Journalists, to tell you what you should think about it. This destroyed America, and Bill was the best at it, and kind of championed the movement. What he said did not destroy America, but his success, created the model everyone now follows.

Who stands up and claps for Bill O’Reilly? This guy is a pos.
  • I'll never forget Jon making Bill's own camera crew laugh when he came on Bill's show...I'm sure that was a fresh of breath air for them.
