man Mclaren just wasted Oscar's first win by making it awkward......

This feels like the most awkward and subdued race win of all time.

All Mclaren had to do was pit Piastri first and they wouldnt have to make it so stressful. Maybe he would have still won, maybe Norris would still pass and win, whichever way, i would have preferred both of them fighting for it for the entertainment. He still deserved it, but this was one of the worst and embarrassing way to get your first win. Just a total mess from Mclaren. Now they got a pissed off Norris and a somewhat pissed off Piastri at least on the inside. I wonder how Mclaren are gonna deal with Norris once he has had enough in future races.

Man, Oscar face controversy again. First with going to McLaren in 23, now with his first win. He's obviously delighted to have a win, but you can tell it's definitely not the way he wanted to win.

Just when you think the team couldn't screw Piastri any more after Silverstone, they absolutely ruin his first win the next race. Mclaren pitwall need to get it together fast.

Lando could have just let him pass at lap 50 or whenever the team order was given at first to then overtake Piastri on merit to justify his position instead of wasting his gap

Somehow McLaren's strategy team even screwed up their rookie driver's first ever win in F1.

It doesn't matter how messed up the calls were, Piastri won and he should be proud that he did so on merit.

22 years ago, a scarlet team got punished for pulling out this kind of moves for the sake of sportmanship. What happened to this sport to go so backwards ?

I'd rather have an 'awkard' radio after my first win WITHIN 35 races than Norris' boo-hoo' after 110 races. Plus they're two different characters. Check out all of their interviews, Oscar is more of an introvert so there's nothing wrong about this. He still will have a bigger career than Lando's.
