"Incompetence" and "unprofessionalism" are much more mature and educated than my two words for that mess: s*it show.

Beginning to think there is some red paint under the orange on the McLaren

It's a shame Oscar's first win will be remembered with this unnecessary drama Lando did nothing wrong Mclaren somehow keep shooting themselves in the foot
  • It didn’t almost ruin his maiden win. McLarens strategy tarnished his first win. And made both drivers look bad.

Honestly, I was very disappointed in McLaren today. It took away from Oscar’s win so much. Honestly, they really need to learn better. Very disappointed from them.

It was like watching a live episode of Drive to Survive.

As a McLaren fan, i was ashamed of the situation. Neither McLaren driver is to blame, Its the McLaren pitwall to blame for the whole drama… Just unprofessional, all could’ve been avoided with a 2 minute talk about this before the race Happy for Oscar tho!!
  • @shakesnbake
Nico Rosberg made a good point in that, a) McLaren are not used to winning and b) his advice to Stella that need to give clear cut messaging. Took the sheen of a great 1-2 and Oscars first win.
  • @Muzz76
Poor Oscar. The team should’ve pitted him first and allow Lando to challenge him toward the end of the race. If Lando overtook them then fair play.

This guy’s content is actually PEAK. I love how reasonable and down to earth he is
  • @tanana3000
Mclaren bottles Oscar’s win and then made Lando pay the price for it. Not a good look. Sad for Oscar. No one who just won their 1st race should be saying “sorry” on the radio

Netflix: "Good, gooooood! Let the drama flow through you 👹"

Surprisingly, you and I were among a few people on Twitter who agreed on how unprofessional mclaren were with their strategy and treatment of lando norris. How they got him into that situation, then guilt tripped him into giving it up when they gave him priority over piastri. They created a scenario where lando feels like shit, loses 7 points, and a race win whilst piastri must feel like a token winner after that.

Even on a 1-2 McLaren are dreadful on strategy. They should have just pitted PIA first, NOR the lap after, and let the both of them race. Instead we got monologues from the pit wall, convincing NOR—who widened the gap to PIA in the final stint and is in contention for the WDC—to give up P1. Both drivers have their merits on winning this race but we had to witness this farce because of a strategy blunder from the team
  • @Real_Shawn
This race was the definition of "WTF did I just watch"
  • The start was so messy. FIA should be strict about giving position back. Just say "Give the position back in one lap or it goes for review" and let the teams decide.
  • @Umar-gw6fy
McLaren being at the front now only shows how unready they are to win a wdc
  • @sleepypixie8828
At this point every single pitwall is having a mental breakdown especially the top teams
  • @user-lo2nd6ux1b
Yeah McLaren made it so ugly. It was supposed to be beautiful.
