  • The Cherokee Bush bean I've been growing from my great grandmothers seed, my grandfather grew them, he gave me beans, I grow them, probably a 150 year ran cultivar
  • @paulgdlmx
Not only informative but such a charming young lady
  • What a smooth and calm talker. You are very pleasant to listen to. It is nice to find a gardener that grows in the hot climates and is willing to share their knowledge. Thank you.
  • Isn't it amazing the amount of food the Lord has created for us! Love your garden and a little bit envious. TBH, very jealous! God Bless!
  • I’m just now seeing this! Yo, I really love and appreciate seeing young folks use their minds to make things better for us older folks. This is a great way to help out the elderly. I’m not that old but I love those folks too!
  • @shannoneg2000
I love that you totally ignored "spacing guidelines" with your bush beans 😂 I shall follow your lead this year!
  • I love coating my fresh beans with olive oil and lots of seasonings and cooking in air fryer. Light, crisp and tasty dipped in your favorite sauce
  • I live in Florida and we have like 4 different types of fire ants on our property. I have a fire ant guy that comes and treats my property every 4 months but not around my garden. I use containers to garden as I am older and have arthritis and some mobility issues with my ankles and knees anymore. But I find those ants hate the smell of cinnamon. So I buy large containers of cinnamon and sprinkle on top of my containers and the ants stay out of them.
  • I never even thought of planting beans in those. That's awesome. Thank you for sharing this!! With groceries costing what they cost and having an aging parent with a very small space, this is brilliant. I will definitely be doing this for her this year so she can have fresh bean's.
  • Beautiful garden spot! You maximized very well, you should be so proud of yourself!
  • Never get tired of fresh green beans, they can be cooked so many good ways. Favs are teriyaki and bacon n onion. I want to try those dragon beans. Also asparagus beans. Biggest problem I’ve had here in south Florida is the hot wind, just general high heat, and the little containers dry out fast. You have a wonderful back yard. You are such a well spoken and cute young lady, I will subscribe!
  • I grow scarlet runners on tall teepee sticks, the beans are huge and the blossoms are beautiful. The hummingbirds love them.
  • Hi! Zone 8b gardener here. I’ll be growing Kentucky Wonders, Contenders & Blue Lake green beans. You have a very nice setup.
  • You Are absolutely a joy to watch and good for my 71-year-old soul. Thank you
  • This year was the first year that I was able to find these containers and I am so happy with them, they are not in the lease bit cheap. I also had very good luck with dollar tree seeds. No they are not heirloom or Non GMO but for gardeners on a budget you can't beat them. Lots of good tips in this video!!
  • @AugustaDanner
I loved this video. This is the first year of my life and I'm 63, that I've had a run in with fungus knits, uggg. Thanks for your input about the cinnamon. My hubby wanted to buy chemicals to get rid of them, I'm not into that stuff. I also didn't realize you could grow so many bean plants together in such small a area. I can't wait to get started. Wish I was in your location, I'm in Kansas and it's late February, I'm so ready to get my garden going, my little green house is over flowing. Until next time, happy growing.
  • Zine 7 here..Thanks for your video we have some good tips and I did not know about cinnamon🙌🏽🙌🏽..You’re doing a great job with your garden and we’re learning a lot..Stay safe🥰🥰
  • Totally enjoyed the video. In fact I saved it as you mentioned several things I want to re-see. Loved it. ❤
  • @wamich4
I put a hole in the center of each, and turn a clay pot upside down and it's off the ground so you can spin it to get even sun. I spun each day 1 turn. Works great
  • Thank you for the tip on letting each layer of the tower to get started before stacking!
