I could cry because you have made this so informative, helpful, smart and easy to understand. And you don't have mind-numbing music playing. Thank you, ma'am. God bless you.
  • Just goes to show no matter how many years you've been gardening. There's always something basic and surprising to learn. Thank you, Susan
  • Holy cow, I never paid attention to the side that should face down all these years!! Not even seed packets tell us this. Thank you!!! Also never knew I could start seeds indoors.

What a pleasure to watch you instruct. You are thorough, calm, and knowledgable, efficient but freindly. I think we can do this!

I never knew this about "how" to plant the bean seeds! (With "belly button" down!) Thanks soooooo much for sharing this! Even us "old gardeners" can learn a trick or two!

I had no idea I could plant them that close if they were on a trellis! And I’ve been gardening a loooong time. And belly button down! I actually planted my pole beans after watching this video and In my head I was telling the beans “there you go, belly button down nice and cozy”. I know, I talk to my plants. Thank you for a really informative video!
  • Susan, your bean planting tutorial is so educational and ... good for the heart!

Susan, as a lifelong gardener, I must say I am very impressed with your video. Your presentation was excellent and unlike SO MANY youtubers, you got your precise information across without being the least bit longwinded, disorganized, or full of uhhs and ahhhs and other forms of timewasting drivel !!! Kudos for a wonderful garden and awesomely organized video !!! And thanks for sharing !!!
  • I just discovered you Susan and glad I did. I Love vegetable gardening, I live on a farm and ranch and have been growing veges for 50 years. Of course in the beginning I was a complete novice. But with the help of a few books I was on my way. Of course, we ate the produce and I canned and froze lots of it !!!! But my main joy is the wonders of nature, planting a seed and watching it grow into a plant that produces food that sustains us. I struggle with mobility issues but I have a new daughter in law who loves to garden and I am teaching her everything I know but there are always new thing to learn !!!!!!
  • Thank you for an tutorial on bean planting ,really appreciated the time you took to explain and show each step, the trellis info was a welcome bonus, happy and healthy gardening 🌱🌻
  • I use a metal dinner fork to pop out plugs or from 72 inserts. This works much better than a smaller stick. It also allows you to pop the complete plug out every time. A fork is also slightly curved.

Brilliant point about spacing the pole beans three inches apart because they grow up and not out...
