  • The funniest part about Baez's baserunning was he called Contreras safe at home before realizing he still had to get to first and then when he slid into first he called himself safe before going to 2nd
  • The ball boy from the royals not doing anything out of fear of messing up again is one of the most relatable moments in sports history
  • 5:02 that’s not the most random noise ever heard… that’s the beginning to kickstart my heart lmfao

Javy would do insane plays like that all the time and somehow they worked. That's why we called him El Mago.

In the 2018 Wild Card game, he hugged Nolan Arenado to prevent him from completing a double play. All Arenado had to do was attempt to make the throw and Javy would have been called on interference.

For whatever reason, he didn't, and hugged Baez back.
  • “The most random sound ever heard”
That was the beginning to Kick Start my Heart!
  • Thing is, the Javier Baez one did affect the game tremendously, the Cubs won by a 2 run gap, and the two runs came from this hillarious error
  • Every BDE intro: He hit 75 homers while suffering stage 4 colon cancer and only had 2 fingers and toes. He also was known for his steroid use and corked bats. This all happens before he was 5 years old
  • The Lonnie Smith incident really grinds my gears. Dude had one of the craziest comeback stories in sports history but unfortunately a few seconds of confusion is how he will be remembered. It's unjust.

My middle school librarian was a giants ball boy. She would sometimes just leave school early to just go watch the Giants
  • This man is also responsible for baseball getting boosted ratings. His videos are absolute gold!
  • In the 4:57 clip, the "noise" that plays out I'm 90% sure it's the intro for "Kickstart My Heart" by Motley Crue
  • @EthanW201
"But the dumbest offender was in Philly" pretends to be suprised
  • I can really feel for the guy in the booth on the JJ Putz situation. I did some PA announcing in college during my red shirt season and one of the guys was helping me and played music as a pitch was being thrown and he hid. Jake Moye if you're reading this I'll never forget.

5:05 it was actually the intro to Kickstart My Heart lmao

Lonnie Smith didn't get tricked. He lost the ball and didn't know if he could make it to third. You can see in the clip that he's not looking at the second baseman and doesn't stop when the "trick" happens, but after he looks into the outfield. Lonnie has addressed this and there's even a Pretty Good episode about Lonnie Smith where Jon Bois talks about it.
  • Using a flamethrower to dry dirt faster is more American than baseball itself.
  • @abysses
i don’t even watch baseball yet get hyped to see your new uploads. you tell these stories so well.
