That last rule is an insult. One of my favorite little things about baseball is seeing opposing players laugh it up and enjoy the sport. It gives the game a comfy backyard vibe.

This channel is the reason why I got back into baseball. Thank you

Bobby Valentine in a disguise is always gonna be the funniest mlb moment to me. I don't even like him all that much, but that shit is hilarious to see every time.
  • Man if they enforced the fraternizing rule, Miguel Cabrera would be done lmao. Love that guy.

The automatic triple Was very close to happening last year in a bluejays Redsox game back in late June where Manoah threw his glove out of frustration

That closing clip with Ozzie Albies shows what's right about baseball today. Albies is an extraordinarily good player, butt more importantly he almost always demonstrates just how fun the game is!

I'm glad that the last rule isn't really enforced. The last game that I went to was a Nats vs Mets game, and there was a line of kids sitting in left field waiting for Lindor to sign their ball/glove/hat before the game. It was a really nice thing to see. It's always great to see players being nice to each other because of all the clips of them yelling at each other. If you think people being nice is a bad look, you should do something about the umpires, because their ejections for no reason are a bad look
  • The one thing you can’t forget about Eddie Gaedel: he was told not to swing and if he did that a sniper in the stands would shoot him. Thank you Ken Burns’ Baseball for that tidbit.
  • If you want to know more about Eddie Gaedel, give me a shout. He was my Grandpa's brother. He dropped the last E from his name because he didn't like people saying it wrong. I'm one of a few Gaedeles out there. A few years ago St. Louis brought me and some family members out to Busch Stadium and honored Eddie's legacy (small as it is, pun intended) by bringing us out on the field and giving away Eddie bobbleheads.

Regarding the banter rule. I loved watching Felix Hernandez and Adrian Beltre go at it.

That last rule is so bogus. As a huge hockey fan, a big part of it that I love is that these big, tough strong athletes often play around and have fun with each other during down time, plus, seeing any athlete give a young fan a piece of game used memorobilia or even just a head scratch is always heartwarming. These are things that humanize these athletes

Rob Manfried being allowed as a MLB employee is quite a dumb rule
  • I play warzone with a pitcher on the red Sox. Can confirm they're all about the gamer boy life haha

I go through periods where your channel comes up on autoplay and runs through 4-5 videos every couple of weeks. I've probably seen this one a few times but they never get old thanks to your storytelling technique. Always got me hooked! I learn so much from you my dude. Just wanted to say thank you and you're the best.
  • You have secured my subscription forever. I commented on an earlier video about the terminology used for people with dwarfism - and I really appreciate you listening and changing! A lot of folks do not take the time and it is appreciated.
  • The Anthony Rizzo hand sanitizer clip with Orlanda Arcia should have been used in the last clip. Or Freddie Freeman knocking the ball out of Asdrubal Cabrera's hand clip. Those are classics that we all love. Solid ass vid.
