Many people had questions.  1.Does the mask how fits on the face? → I show it on this video. Also show 3 size pattern of this face mask. Please refer, thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHFJJTlJ2us 2.What the material for filter? → I used medium thickness cotton fabric. Thank you for watching always. Have faun to make masks. I love you❤︎

Thanks for posting this. I love the design, I think it will be excellent for everyone, and especially helpful for those who are prone to breathing problems. I had a hard time following how to sew the center "pucker" which eventually becomes the nose bridge. I thought when you sewed the four corners with right sides together, and then you sewed the center pucker, you did both those actions the same. But when I slowed down the video, I realized that when you finished sewing the corners with right sides together, you SEPARATED the two layers of fabric at the center and you sewed the "pucker" on only one layer of the fabric. Once I realized that, everything made perfect sense!

This was... BY FAR... the most simple, detailed post on making a mask!!! No indecisive pattern to follow with all kind of inseams and allowances! Thank you!
  • P.S. on your next video, friendly reminder to model the face mask so we can see the result. Thank you! 🤠
  • Hello ! This is one of the first face masks I made when my husband wanted a version that does not touch his mouth and when he sucks in air via his nostril , he didn’t want it to touch his nostrils. Now that he is back traveling on transit for work at the office, he wants me to make more for him. The disposable ones do not work well when he has to walk part of the way to his office. It touches his mouth and nose and he hates that. I am so glad you still have this video tutorial because I haven’t made these in 2 years. He loves this version and I love sewing this version as it is so quick and easy. I iron on woven interfacing to one side of the fabric to create a third layer since he prefers that to him having to insert a filter. We still need face masks even though it is not mandated, but it protects us from others who may have Covid and don’t know it yet. Now my family recognized that my prediction to keep wearing mask is 3-4 years. They thought I was nuts to say that back in March 2020. Thank you for a great and simple way to make breathable masks 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I will be making more for my family to use. I hope you are doing well and I hope your beautiful cats are keeping you 😊 happy. Stay safe … we in Canada are back again with another wave of Covid , I lost count as to which wave this is. Once people are back indoors, more will infect others with Covid. Be well!!

How cleaver and easy to create room to breath, and add lining and a pocket for filter with elastics all in just a few steps! Well done. Thanks for sharing.
  • @pldaniels38
This has so far been the easiest for me, we can clearly see the marks you make . Thank you

Please tell me I'm not the only one that went "WHAT IS THAT" when they pulled out the iron 😂 I had to do a double take! Interesting iron!
  • Like that you have included metric and inch measurements. Love the music and the cat! Easy to follow tutorial. Thank you!
  • Thank you so much for your video. I looked high and low for one that was easy to watch! Yours was the best and most easy to follow! Have been making masks for 2 weeks now! Again, thank you!

I made the mistake of thinking the centre bit was sewn through both pieces of fabric and couldn't work out how to turn it out. Once I realised I made another and have made 4 in a short time. I lined the second two and I like this as it feels a bit more substantial. Using soft elastic makes them comfortable too. Thanks for this tutorial.

Genius! Well-designed, and great of a beginner sewers, too: (1) only straight sewing (no curbs), (2) Not much iron needed, and (3) no wire. The biggest win is the simplicity & comfort. It has much room for easy breathing and closes well at the nose area a wire! Very comfortable. I recommend to use a baby nursery fabric, which comes out nicely. Only potential drawback would be the opening for insertion (for filters or extra fabric) makes a thin layer for the people who doesn't use any insert. I have made 100+ masks so far. This is the BEST!
  • Thank you for responding on where you got the iron, really appreciated as I was in the market for one.
  • @salleighfish
I made 3 masks. Thank you for this tutorial! The instructions were clear and easy to understand even though I am a beginner sewer.
  • @bevbryan
This is the best mask pattern! Easy to make--wonderful instructions and so much easier to breathe! Thank you!!!♥️
  • Beautiful video, I love the NO talking ❤️ so clear and easy to understand. Thank you
  • @kateglazier3726
The beauty in this is the simplicity, very good tutorial thank you
  • I always live your videos, cuz you just show how to make and it’s always understandable. You don’t talk, like other videos, the people ramble on and it’s irritating. Thank you
