This song has helped me get through a very tough work year. I work two jobs as an Airplane Mechanic Monday-Friday, and as a locomotive engineer on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Working those double job days three times a week has beaten me down physically and emotionally, but no matter how much I fall, this song is always there for me to convince me to keep going. And keep going I do, because I am a blue-collar man, no matter how much the Fat Cats try to knock me down, I will never have my spirit broken. I am proud to work two jobs in the transportation industry, I’m proud to be following my dream, I’m proud to be a 4th generation railroader, and this song will,always be my war cry through the Hellish days to come

Makes me think of my husband, my father, my grandfather and great grandfathers. How hard they all work and how hard they worked for what little they had. Makes me look at my own sons and the legacy of hard work that was all their forefathers could leave them.

I'm usually not one to cry, but God danm this one did. I don't know why but it just reminded me of my dad, he was always such a hard worker, engineering on cars, planes, trains, and just before he was gone was even looking to work for nasa, and due to the working made his immune system weak. Strongest, smartest, kindest man I'll ever know. Miss you, dad.

This is the anthem to my life. I have always loved the Dropkick Murphys version since I heard it like 20 years ago, so when this came out I was ecstatic. Even more so when the community project was announced, which I am proud to have participated in. Thanks, boys. You truly make my life better.
