  • SPOILER ALERT: WHO NOTICED LENNON WEARING HER CROWN IN THE VIDEO? #NOMORECAGES Long video so timestamps below! 1:21 - History of Hutches and Cages 5:40 - Fear & Stigma 6:00 - Benefits of Free Roaming 6:52 - Get to Know Your Rabbit 7:35 - Spaying & Neutering 8:00 - Litter box training 8:44 - Bunny Proofing 10:39 - Building Trust 11:37 - Start Small 13:16 - The Pet Cam 13:42 - Restrict Access 14:28 - Toys & Hay 14:53 - You Will Make Mistakes 15:38 - Reasons to NOT Free Roam

I don’t get why people are so grossed out by rabbit poop It’s literally a hard dry ball of hay And it doesn’t smell It’s the pee that’s horrible
  • Once I understood why rabbits chew cords it made me understand them more. Rabbits chew cords because pet bunnies are descended from the European Rabbit which digs a burrow and lives underground. These rabbits constantly have to chew roots in their holes to make sure it is not blocked. The cords appear to rabbits as roots and they chew them instinctively to clear their path. Things like chewing cords and digging are just natural instincts since that is what their ancestors did in the wild.
  • I adopted a rabbit named Koji from a rescue organization here in Houston. His previous owner had him caged for about 5 years. That really broke my heart. My husband and I both agreed from the first day we brought Koji home that we would let him free roam and never cage him again. Happy to say this little guy is thriving. He does binkies everyday. He's gotten so comfortable here in his new home. It's nice to see others out there that also free roam their rabbits. Thanks for the video!
  • I've free roamed my bunny since I adopted him at 4 months. I'm so blessed he uses the liter box and doesnt chew on things
  • My mom said at 1st that i couldn't free roam my rabbit but then i showed her this video and she said i could and that changed my bunnys life forever! Thanks so much!!
  • I actually initially started free roaming my bun very shortly after getting her, and I did not even know that this was a possibility. I was just lonely and staying in my room most of the time, so I figured I could let her run around while I am around. I genuinely bought her, thinking that bunnies are just guinea pigs with long ears. Potty training also kind of happened instinctively and she picked it up very fast, whereas I thought bunnies couldn’t even be potty trained...I let her roam around my room more and more ever day and slowly went through the bunny-proofing process, and was amazed at what kind of relationship I was able to develop with her. It’s really given both of us so much value
  • As soon as I found out my husband was bringing home a bunny from work, I bought a bunny house, put it together (screws, nails, etc- broke a sweat doing so)! I started researching how to care for them, etc. I stumbled upon your channel. Long story short, I had no idea free roaming was a thing! I took apart the bunny house & shipped it back less than 2 weeks later. We bought a pen, worked on liter training him (thanks to your videos) and little by little, started giving him more freedom. After about 2 months of having him, he is completely free roam 24/7 & is loving life!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE VIDEOS!!!

My wife and I have a free roam lionhead bunny. We both follow/followed all your tips and she is an amazing addition to our family. Thank you for all the info we greatly appreciate it.
  • 4:40 i like how instead of laying in the $10 bed, shes just laying on the floor right next to it 😂 lennon is just adorable
  • @josie5403
You have changed my rabbits life! A few weeks ago i discovered this video and convinced my mom to let our female bunny, eevee freeroam. And she agreed that eevee should freeroam instead of staying in a very small WIRE BOTTOM cage. She luckly only stayed in that cage for only a week, no longer. Eevee is now a freeroam bunny with many hiding spaces, warm house, water and food bowls around the house, toys, hay, and more!
  • I just got a bunny baby bunny Toast and she’s free roaming in my bedroom. I’m already working on litter training her and it’s going really really well! ❤️❤️
  • @dais8976
my boyfriend and I got a rabbit around a month ago and decided to free roam her a few days after getting her as whenever she came out her cage she'd be so happy running around etc and its so lovely to see, now her cage is only used as a litter box! so thank you so much for educating us on why free roaming is so important <3 bunnies really are just like tiny dogs
  • Oh this is such an awesome video - thanks so much for charing this!
  • Lorelei is DEFINATELY all of our unspoken voices when it comes to bunnies :) and 4:41 can we all just take a moment to appreciate how lennon casually fell asleep on the hard floor 1 FOOT away from her bed
  • @cozybbun
My rabbit is basically free roamed, he has taken full control of my room. I don't even bother putting him in his playpen when I have to go somewhere because I know that he'll be fine and more happy. I do have a cage (my parents forced me to get it) but turned it into a nice little cozy area where his water and food bowl is, the cage door is never closed.
  • Rabbits have since moved from our plates, to our hearts and our homes. -Lorelei 2018
  • My bunny has always been free roam, he seems so happy and starts randomly running n jumping, I love your channel tysm❤️❤️
