  • Your son has really grown up.He is your sous chef. I grew up on potato Latkes with my Polish heritage too. Ate them with sour cream and applesauce. So good!
  • @chiaragil4802
Your son’s love of food reminds me of my always hungry boy ❤ the best memories are truly made in the kitchen!

I love potato latkes and sour cream is a must. I gtew up eating them along with my 7 siblings. My mother is of Jewish/ Italian heritage. I know strange but my Grandmother was Jewish and Grandpa was Italian. My Mom learned to cook them very young and your recipe is exactly as ours. My Mother is still cooking them at her age of 91. Thanks for the video.

Potato starch or juice mixed with water is great to water your plants! Makes them lush! Also I hope you composted your peelings! You could also boil both the juice and the peelings to become soup broth, which can be frozen.
  • Polish heritage here. Grew up eating them. My recipe is very similar. You can actually cheat & use thawed frozen hash browns, too. I eat mine with applesause & maple syrup. Delicious!
  • I searched and looked at many videos for latkes and I stayed with yours because I really like your personality, presentation and your humour. Thank you very much👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
  • Oh wow. Thank you for introducing your son!! I haven’t seen one with your family before. My son and I cook together all the time and we just have a blast! Such a handsome young man. Such a great channel! I’m making these for him this evening for an after dinner snack. I think I’ll used your son’s dipping sauce. Sounds tasty! Love you guys ❤
  • Natasha is a hoot. It's like she's a long lost sister. Love laughing out loud to her videos. Bringing the son in was cool. Gotta try the fry sauce.
  • @Town22
My mom made these when I was young... very nice. Natasha, I've followed your channel for 9 years now, and I've never been disappointed with your recipes. Our all-time favorites are the stuffed cabbage rolls and the apple pancakes. Thank you soooo much. ❤
  • @rickjohnson6559
Another great potato recipe and I'm an Idaho native. The world loves this tuber ❤I know I do. Thankyou. Cooking this now 😂

I worked for years at Jews for Jesus International Christian ministry headquarters in San Francisco. Our co-founder's (Susan Perlman) mom used to show up at the office every year for the (Jewish) holidays & make potato latkes downstairs in the kitchen all day for the staff. You could smell them throughout the entire downstairs! There was nothing like Mother Perlman's latkes . I will definitely try this recipe, they look incredible & bring back wonderful memories. Thanks Natasha!
  • 😂 Wow Natasha! How'd you know? Hanukkah is in about a month from now and its celebrated with making Latkes 👏 perfect timing for prep!🙏❤
  • @user-if7cj1fe5p
We love those for dinner, along with a nice green salad and some salted and peppered sour cream. And a few slices of smoked salmon. I always add grated carrots and zucchini to the latkes, a little more veggies are always welcome. Heavenly ❤❤❤

These were my Dads all time favorites, he so loved them, Mom did not have a food processor in the day so it was hard work to make enough to feed a family with six children! Sharkey was on your sons hand as he was mixing his fry sauce!!! Thanks for sharing!
  • @martianshoes
After reading about them in a Leon Uris novel years before I found myself in 1992 at the Crystal Palace (Chicago suburbs) eating potato latkes and being served by a girl that would’ve made Miss America jealous. They are even better than the Warsaw book extolled. This is the best recipe I found in 30+ years. Thanks for the post!
  • @lisaschaffel266
I love Potato Latkes, it is my favorite Traditional holiday food on Chanukah, I love it with Apple sauce 🍎🍎🥞🥞
  • @JamieM470
They look delicious! I'm going to try them, because every one of Natasha's recipes I've tried has turned out great! And I love the videos. Straight to the point, easy to follow, and entertaining. And I really thought for a second she was going to drink that potato juice 😁
  • @Raindroptherapy
❤ Thank you Natasha!! I had 3 sorry looking potatoes in my fridge, and just used them to make my first Latkeys. WOW!, am I glad I did not throw them out! These were SO DELICIOUS! I also had some siurcream with dill frozen in an ice cube tray. Thawed, and stirred in some mayonnaise, and voila!! Outstanding Latkey dipping sauce! 🎉 Thank you Natasha!! You are inspiring!
