Staying fit and healthy in the world's coldest city takes fitness to a whole new level, unlike anything you've ever heard before. I've always been in awe of the resilience of the locals here, who brave the extreme climate and prove that maintaining fitness and health is possible even in the harshest conditions! 🥶

THIS is what social media is really for. Seeing how other humans live and connecting us across the world. ❤

This channel is incredible. Beautifully shot, well narrated, the story telling is great and it feels like an authentic look into folks’ lives. Keep up the great work and stay warm!
  • I can't even be mad at the promotion. Like get it girl! Your videos are always high quality and I'm now convinced to get another workout in :)

As a quadriplegic who cannot sweat, I have a tough time staying warm below 75F. Her videos are mind-blowing to me.
  • Copilot sure got their money's worth, thanks for another great video Kiun ❤

I love the guy that was out running and said "it's very hot today". I think I need to move to Yakutsk... I grew up in Connecticut and I haven't owned a coat in probably a decade. And I only have one hoodie that I wear occasionally through the winter. I sweat all year long, even in the middle of winter. When I walk into the grocery store people look at me like I'm sick because I'm sweating in a t-shirt in the middle of winter in Connecticut. Maybe if I move to Yakutsk I will finally be comfortable and stop sweating... But I don't like fish or any seafood....
  • This is the kind of stuff I want to learn about on Youtube. Thank you for showing your life and the amazing environment you are in!

Hi Kiun B, So nice to actually see you in your video. The ice bathing looks fascinating. If I were to choose from each of the different activities, I think I would enjoy the ice fishing the most. Of course, hiking to the Lena Pillar were be amazing too. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Safe travels and best wishes always.

Thanks for sharing your perspective from the other side of the world. ✌️ It's truly amazing to see how people live their lives in different areas. 🙂 Of the many negatives there can be, this is one of the positive things about the internet and social media.
  • Love content like this! I’m so happy to see how people live in worlds so utterly different than my own. Thanks for privileging us with this.

My furnace broke in the middle of winter last year and I had to wait 2 months to get a new one. It got down to -15 F and of course I could see my breath inside! Had to use an electric heater and a propane heater but it never got above 45F. I can't imagine -75F??!!! When I get another house I am making sure it has a wood burning stove!! Thanks for a wonderful journey to an incredible land.

This is the first video I’ve come across that doesn’t have any negative comments! Literally all of them are positive! So refreshing.
  • Why am I shivering and it's hot here?😂 Mad respect to people of Yakutsk.🎉 Watching this from Tanzania 🇹🇿,East Africa.

Awesome video! I'm always eager to learn more about Yakutsk and your videos are so informative, relaxing and well produced. Thank you Kiun

We do this same in Finland. But you have to remember, since the ice is broken and there is water visible, it is above 0°C or seawater couple of degrees below freezing. After Sauna 80°C - 100°C, I mean Finnish Sauna, outside temperature doesn't feel nothing, only the 0.1°C water feels shocking. Myself, I recommend jump to the snow, it is not water and since it's in solid mode, it is colder than water since it is frozen. The snow feels much more shocking.
  • the quality of the video plus the cinemato is incredible Kiun! And ofcourse as always the content is informative, great job yet again. we love learning more about Yakutsk <3
  • I always look forward to your wonderful, adventurous videos, and this fits the category. In addition, it was extremely informative and very educational. Thank you so much, and great fortune toward your journey to a better SELF!
