What we perceive to be the edge of our universe is not the actual edge of the universe, with most scientists in agreement that more space lies hidden beyond what we're able to see. Last time out, we travelled to the very edge of our observable universe. But today, we will be going even farther, as we wade out into the darkness of the unobservable universe.

Watch Part 1 (Journey to the Edge of the Universe):    • Journey to the Edge of the Universe [4K]

Thank you to everyone who watched and enjoyed this. I’ve been planning this vid for more than 2 years and I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I did making it. Merry Christmas and see you in 2023 🍺

my name is kuiper and im autistic and my special interest since i was really young has been space. I watch all your videos over and over and i never get tired of them. You make the most informative and comforting videos on space and there’s nothing better than your content in my opinion. your content makes me so so happy, and i love sharing these videos with all my friends too! these videos help me sleep too and i just can’t thank you enough for what you do <3 you’re always up to date and you talk about these complex things in such a way that makes them so understandable! i wish i could offer more, and hopefully i can eventually buy your merch!! thank you for what you do :)
  • I was born with many difficulties in my life. Although I am not fully educated, I have a strong love for science and the universe. Thank you for bringing it to me. Love you
  • The cyclical, never-ending, forever identically looping concept of a Toroidal Universe is both supremely terrifying and deeply comforting.
  • It's ten minutes to 3 in the morning. There's a blizzard raging outside and i'm curled up in bed under many blankets watching this video. I've never felt at once so large and so small; so tethered to my immediate physical time and place, and so free to wander a possibly infinite universe. This video is a master work. I love that we know so much, and I love that there is so much we may never know.
  • It’s amazing we get to watch this level of content for free. This channel is way better then the stuff I see on Netflix. He goes into such depth with facts that are actually true. The video is 40 minutes of actual knowledge and i love every second of it .
  • Came out of this understanding less than what I understood coming in. This is how you know when a science video is amazing.
  • Unbelievable how well described, researched, and visually composed the videos of SEA can be.
  • I love the idea of a cyclical universe, where everything begins anew, instead of every photon and proton eventually decaying into nothing, and the universe becoming a graveyard of what once was. But I also understand that the universe is under no obligation to make sense to me or bend to my wishes. This content is so awesome! Thanks so much!
  • I play your videos for my astronomy students pretty regularly and they are always in awe at what you're describing. As the semester is coming close to an end, I cannot wait to show them this video after watching the cosmic scale at the start of the year. Thank you for making such fantastic content!
  • Your videos are absolutely incredible. I've watched them all multiple times. Amazing work my dude.
  • Can we all appreciate the fact SEA does not add music to his videos making his content the most relaxing science based videos on youtube. He has helped me get more then 7 hours sleep per night
  • From the bottom of my heart and soul, thank you so much for another trip around the sun. Your content has become a fixture of my life and it's been an absolute pleasure and honor to have supported you since 2019. I look forward to another year of reaching for the stars! Merry Christmas and I'll see you in 2023!
  • Started watching science stuff on tv long ago. Hated how it went from approaching education to just being wonder porn. Came to YouTube and found stuff like this which almost forces you to pause and search to learn as you watch. Basically free 100 level college lectures. Love it.
  • 4D Hyper Torus fan here. One simple reason. "As above, so below. As below, so above" All around us, on every level we can see, the nature of things is cyclical. An explanation that jives with that is simply best. The Universe is expanding, and indeed accelerating from our point of view. Without knowing exactly how, I know that it won't continue to do it forever. That's like a crest without a trough, a light without dark, a yin without yang. Nothing works that way. Nothing.
  • @MiamiMarkYT
The idea of the universe being flat is just so unbelievably appealing to me. No bells, no whistles, just infinite pancake shaped reality lol
  • @greggc68
As always such high quality content. You put a lot of work into it and it shows. Great episode.
  • In the 70 years I've been on this planet I've witnessed more changes than any previous generations in human history. What man and woman have achieved in a blink of geological time leaves me stunned with awe. As do your presentations. Happy Christmas
  • @SirDuck2
Bro I’m so glad that this channel exists it has helped me sleep better and be more comfortable because I never really get to do anything or just hear about one of my favorite things space so when I go to sleep I listen to one two or even three a night.
  • @grantmeacham
I watch videos like this all the time and you had by FAR the most understandable explanations for some very trippy concepts. Well done!
