I watch a lot of stand up comedy. I see the ones just starting out and how they rush and they feel uneasy with the pauses. Sometimes the pause is what the audience will need to really get the joke. A lot of them rush because they are so nervous they pretty much just want to finish and get off the stage. Or some of them unfortunately just bomb. This guy is incredibly polished and knows the audience. Almost sounds like he was just sitting in a room with 5 people partying and after everybody is good and numb the guy just starts riffing. Have you ever been to a small get together and once every one starts feeling happy and comfortable, one of the guys just starts riffing and gets on a roll. Everyone is just laughing and having a good time? This cat just did almost an hour on that stage and never lost my interest. I was just laughing and having a good time. Unbelievable talent good luck on your journey to the top my friend.
