From one veteran to another, thanks for your service. This was a FANTASTIC tutorial. I work as a data engineer/solutions architect. As a hobby I am getting into cyber and ethical hacking, and this video was great. Thank you!
  • @stevecamm9733
Excellent tutorial that I've set up on a VM and has taught me some good baseline skills. Much appreciated! Thanks

To all you whining ‘click bait’ merchants in the comments... This video was one video from an entire series of videos around Ethical Hacking, Heath does an absolutely amazing job with his videos, what’s more... he provides them for free for people to learn. If you’re complaining, your completely missing the point... a total noob wanting to get into ethical hacking will find this video EXTREMELY useful and it’s a MUST if you want to learn this stuff properly... you have to start somewhere, this is it! If you are more ‘advanced’ than the contents of the video, great!!.. good for you!! ....go make your own video and put it up for people to learn. Drop me a note, I’ll help you sharer around! Stop your whining. This is a spectacular contribution to the community. Great video Heath! As always!

Thanks so much for these videos. I graduated with a BS in Network Security and then left to help take care of my sick father. He is no longer with us, but I have not gotten into my field just yet. So I have been watching these videos to help refresh my memory and what a blessing these videos have been. Also gives me a boost in confidence when I realize how much I really do know.
  • If anyone is watching this in 2022, Kali Linux has changed their default credentials to Username: Kali / Password: Kali

Thank you so much for this kali course for new entrants. You're audible and have the ability to explain something complex in a simplistic manner. Awesome job.
  • @mrwekahwekah
Hi incase you're using the 2020 version, the default username and password is kali. Thanks alot for the course. .... UPDATE You will notice that when you write some commands and hit Enter, you get Permission denied. That means that you have to login in as a Sudo user. Type "sudo su" , enter your your password, then type "passwd root" set a new password. You'll be logged in as a Sudo user (root@kali:/#)

I can't Begin to explain how much I appreciate this training video. The information you have provided was well taught and explained. I will be joining and becoming a member soon. Thanks for the service you have provided by just making these videos.
  • Super interested! I've always wanted something very close to this, but a little bit more advanced. In addition to this, TargetTrappers can trace (iOS/Smartphone/Ipad) the phone location history timeline (full) by only phone number and I want to thank them because of them I reached the top of my class and my school gets me grants to full courses for me to learn from and now even though I'm young I'm already starting toward studying for certifications.
  • Learned alot and haven't even finished yet! Especially thankful for the VM Ware notes!
  • @martinmaletti904
Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video for the community, and for free. I came here wanting to learn how to hack my own home wifi to know how vulnerable my network is and ended up learning a whole career path that is really interesting. Thank you again for the hard work and dedication.

First words "What is up everyone?" sounded like a genuine question, rather than a customary greeting. I had to stop and question every choice I'd ever made in my life, before resuming the course.
  • Hello, I just wanted to say this course is awesome, as a complete noob with Linux it is just right. Thank you so much for taking the time to do your video tutorials 👍🏻😀
  • @royalnews106
Great stuf!! I'm a Dutch teacher for networking students. I was looking for a good source where the students can look for Linux Kali in their own time and you made a very good course! Thanks for sharing
  • @gfofminpd8630
This is seriously amazing. As a beginner with no prior knowledge, this really helped me. Thank you
  • @The-Bear-Drew
Really helpful dude and interesting. Something I have always really struggled with is command line/ programming/scripting. You explained it perfectly. I pretty much got it straight away. Thankyou
