I’ve been on set with her a bunch of times on workin moms as an extra, and she is actually such a boss! She directs while she acts, she’s able to work with the actors and change up the script as they see fit, super hands on, calls all the shots, while taking care of her kids during her lunch break. She’s super friendly, personable, always introduces herself to everyone, and is such an inspiration. She is the literal definition of a workin mom, and that’s why her show comes off so real and genuine. I’ve been on many shows/movie sets and I’ve never seen anyone work like her. She mentioned it was hard work in her talk, but I thought I needed to tell you guys how hard she actuallyyyyy works lol. She was made for this, can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

“If you’re gonna be brave enough to say, “Yes,” to The Choice, you must also have the courage to stick to your vision, because it will be tested.” ~CR

I didn’t realize she was the director as well of Working Moms. I admire her even more. Let’s step out of our comfort zone and stay true to our vision. Powerful words here.
  • The best show I watched on Netflix. Waiting for the 4th season. So authentic. Thank you for that.

"you must cut your voice so sharply that it can be mistaken for nobody but you"
  • I love how she makes an effort to hire women and give them a chance even if their resumes aren’t great yet. Amazing to see women supporting women!!! ❤️

When she cried about the guys jabbing at her for not being with her child. I felt for her soo much, I STARTED CRYIN. man, people don't truly understand how much you love your kid and how much it's conflicting when you work to support your family (AND KID(s)), not to mention, just doing something for yourself for once. She is such an inspiration. I'm so glad she found her voice. Workin mom's is hilarious and absolutely relatable. HIGHLY recommend.

Catherine is a creative genius. Working Moms is my favourite show by far. I've not found a show that entertaining since Friends. The characters are so relatable, the casting perfect. I can't wait for season 4. Love and gratitude from Melbourne Australia.

“It is our duty to listen to our inner voice in order to be our truest self”... literally the reason I started my YouTube channel after practising as a podiatrist and opening up my own clinic. I want to inspire people to follow their dreams

Oh my god. I can’t believe someone actually said, “Is your son calling the nanny ‘Mom’ yet?” to her. That is one of the shittiest things I’ve ever heard. When that happened on the show, I near about lost it.
  • Gives me chills every time she says, “because why not you baby? “ (yes watching this on repeat daily!)
  • I'm not even a mom and I LOVED the show. I think it speaks to every woman over the age of 30 who knows what it's like to navigate being a professional in a career dominated by men. So inspiring that she kept going after all of the rejection. It gives me hope!
  • @justsomeone2318
"Cuz why not you baby?" That's just teared me up in the end.
  • @Kim_Adragna
How did not more people laugh at “Boss Lady hence the blazer” part?! That was funny 😄
  • @harrierha
Terrific actor, talented writer, and insightful Ted Talker. Don't let anyone tell you differently, C.
  • @sheindyone
It's such a refreshing thing to see an actress be just herself on screen. I love it.
