  • Sounds of depression, loneliness, agony, captured by beautiful yet gloomy and blood-soaked land of No Man's Land... Wish I could erase all of my memories of this game and play like its the first time.

can't believe this game is 8 years old. Still looks fresh to date

For me, Velen was the most relatable region in Witcher 3. Just people trying to get by, amidst all the darkness and uncertainty. Also, during sundown you would get these absolutely gorgeus views from the plains and small hilltops. Wish I could go back and experience the game again for the first time , not a single game has come even close to Witcher 3 in the way it captured me.

The soundtrack is definitely a big part in what makes Witcher 3 one of the best games of all time. My favourite OST ever.

SPOIL: After having "finished" the bloody baron's quest where his daughter no longer wanted to see him and his wife had become a monster, I thought that this story was not finished and that I still had a lot of things to do. So I come back to the Baron to collect my dues, eager to see what happens next. And “reality” caught up with me. Brutally as she likes to do it. It started with a fade to black, announcing the start of a cutscene, then the legs of a body hanging from a tree. I naively told myself that it was the baron who had again taken these nerves out on his people, but no. The next image left no doubt. The barron had hanged himself, unable to accept the consequences of my choices. And there, the avalanche of emotion in my stomach. Denial, shock, sadness, then acceptance. Repeating in different orders. Thus making me understand that I had become attached to a character that I did not appreciate. I experienced it as a little trauma. I sometimes have the image of the Baron's lower body, hanged, which comes to mind at inopportune moments. Then a feeling of oppression. Since then, listening to music number 3 (3:46) is an emotional ordeal, which surprisingly I enjoy experiencing. It totally reflects the Velen region. And every time, at 4:13 I seem to hear the Baron crying and lamenting, in the last seconds before hanging himself. Feeling my own periocular muscles contract, as if to stop me from crying. And it's in these moments that I tell myself that The Witcher 3 had an impact on me like no other game has yet. Nor even like any other non-musical work for that matter. Long live video games, long live The Witcher 3.

My favorite part is the random sounds of drowners, what a beautiful sound to study to 😂

Это видео не просто саундтрек из игры,это уже скорее состояние души,будучи большим любителем природы и тем кто прошел ведьмака 3 раза,я уже не могу прогуливаться по лесу,степям,лугам без этой музыки включенной на телефоне
  • @kerizella
Velen... it's so strange to see how a gloomy, lonely and overall threatening atmosphere can bring so much peace and calm to people... thank you for this new personal study time soundtrack!
  • @viityazz9466
Thanks for the upload, it brings back good memories of this wonderful game. Velen was a very special place and the story related was very emotional
  • The Witcher was the best game of all time for me. Hugs from Brazil, and may this work of art (game and music) never die.
  • @ForestHag
I keep searching for games like the witcher, but honestly... nothing compares. This game is pure art and I am so incredibly happy I got to live in a time where such a game exists. The ambiance, the music, the characters, the scenery... it is all perfect.
  • @matrixexd
If there is a game that should be called a work of art, it is The Wither 3, for its art, for its music, for its narrative, and much more. a game that if it had 1000 expansions I would play them all.
  • @Rellyks
That music evokes such an specific feeling, it's hauting, lonely and extremely beautiful. Thanks for posting
  • @dorni2958
