I think everybody loved the moments when one just finished a hard quest and finally leaves the damn cave and hears this music and enjoys the beautiful landscape

I once saw a comment saying : "it's weird when a game feels like home", and everytime i listen to skyrim's OST i realise how true this is, it really is a beautiful game

“Where are you from, thief?” “Why do you care?” “A Nords last thoughts should be of home.”
  • This sounds like what standing in the cold with the sun warming you up feels like

5:33 God I remember hearing this when I got the game at 10 years old when it released. Sitting at my grandmothers exploring riverwood and dragonsreach. This is the most beautiful and amazing game I have ever played and will ever play. This music and game will forever have a special place in me.
  • As an old lady of 54 I have just started playing Elder Scrolls--my son bought me an Xbox--and I love it! I am not very good at doing battle, but I love the story, music and the scenery. I get totally lost in the world. He tells me about playing the original Skyrim and I wish I could have played that one as well.

Skyrim is THE game I could start over again and a again no matter how far I've reached before. It always feels like a totally new and unexplored world. Edit: I must say THANK YOU for all the likes. Never though my comment would reach such a ”popularity” 😅

To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressed about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. And may peace and calmness fill your life

Guard: "I need to ask you to stop! That shouting is making people nervous!" Me: Using Clear Skies to give the people of Whiterun a bright, sunny day

If only I could replay this game for the first time again

Эта музыка затрагивает струны моей души, дарит тепло и спокойствие. Всем мир!
  • It’s 2011, you get off from school, scramble to your room, switch on your Xbox/PlayStation/pc, and automatically log into your account and listen to the drums of nords, then you get listen to this track as the loading screen shows. Life is good.

I love how Skyrim’s ambience musics are calm and inspire strength at same time.

Climbing the 7000 steps to High Hrothgar for the first time with Far Horizons playing in the background will alway be the most special and memorable.
