First Puppy Visit to Our New Border Collie

This was our first visit to get familiar with 5 week old border collie puppies. We had first, and most difficult, pick. Music: “Flora’s Secret” by Enya; “At the Student Café” from Dr. Zhivago; “You’ve go a Friend in Me” by Randy Newman and Lyle Lovett; “Mr. Sandman” by The Chordettes; “Circle of Life” by Elton John. Also, be aware of the differing amounts of exercise different breeds require. Border Collies need a lot of exercise, are very smart and emotionally sensitive.

I remember the first time when I met a litter of border collie puppies at my uncle's house. The puppies were so happy to see us, and they licked me like crazy! Good times!

What beautiful babies! We lost one of ours over a year ago. Our precious Belle a short haired Blue Merle. Unfortunately our breeder passed away and can’t find any close by. I’m dying to find another baby girl our other Border Collie Blue misses her so much.

No way...it is impossible to leave...I would officially have to move in right under that tree. There is nothing like a fluffer waging his tail and a puppy belly is irresistible. I would just feel I am in heaven. They are all adorable...my blood pressure just went down.

What a nice video. Like the music addition especially Mr Sandman. lol This so brings me back to our first BC puppy 8 weeks old. What a cutie, but she could be so naughty and a brat at times. :) lol I tell people think of the naughtiest kid you ever knew...then multiply by 5 and you have a BC puppy!!
