I was given a Border Collie pup when my mutt-dog died of old age "Clarence was such a clown. We did not know he was a sheep dog, but my father could send him out to round us up in the park or on trip to the moutains. You could even send him out to fetch any one of us in particular.
  • I love my Brody. 6 month old border collie. He is amazing! The dog knew his name within 15 minutes of owning him. Craye trained in 30 min. I love him so much. Holly and Brody from Delaware. He is my therapy dog!

All good except the vacuum cleaner episode - that person is ON REPORT.

Mine taught the sand-game. Walk down the beach and kick a tiny bit of sand one-way, then the other. She liked it better than most anything.
  • I had a Border Collie for ten years until some monster poisoned him and another dog in May of 2002. I got Patches free. Someone dumped him out. He showed up at my house, 4:00 Sunday morning, May 3, of 1992. I'd say he was about four or five months old. I had him for several months before he started lifting his leg to pee. He was so smart. He argued with me all day long, every day for ten years. And he was bossy. And so funny. I miss him so much. Patches was so smart. He understood just about everything I said to him. And he was very sensitive. It's easy to hurt a Border Collie's feelings; and a wolf's too. I've had a wolf, too. And Sara was very sensitive. My brother had two of Sara's brothers. and they were very sensitive. You would not think an apex predator like a wolf would have feelings; but they do. And they are very sensitive.
  • There seems to be an underlying hostility in some of these videos. That is, a laugh at the expense of the border collie.
