This guy, whom I didn't know before this video, is the living embodiment of how a rich and fulfilled guy should be - chill, straightforward, passionate and so forth

The image of Jeff on a horse inside of a store based in Aspen feels like some sort of metaphor for 2024.
  • "I think it's important to acknowledge that you lost." 11/10 FANTASTIC LIFE ADVICE
  • "We couldn’t afford the people that told you what you couldn’t do so we just did everything." 💯 Love that quote.

Casey thanks for telling Doug's story in more detail. I've just been travelling and came across a theatre built in the 1930s that the town's government recently had the sense to buy back and restore to its glory and it is a focal point for this small town and regional area that brings people together to share culture. Streaming services keep people apart. But at least this one enables people from all walks of life, like us, to connect. You tell the stories that others don't even notice. Thanks.
  • Damn, you caught Connor McGregor telling him “you gave me the confidence that I can do it”.. the most confident man on earth.. what a dope moment you captured for that man🤘🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯💯💯

That Cab Driver was CRAAAAAZY! 😄

Riding a Citi bike in the rain, in NYC traffic, past a Times Square billboard for a film you made, is about as humble as you can get. Massive respect.

i love how you're still dealing with autofocus problems in 2024- it really makes this feel like one of your first youtube videos in the very best way. this whole video isnt about filming it as it is about getting the story across and for that reason you are the goat sir.

  • sometimes you have to pick a fight you never win, just to let the world know that - there was someone, who was fighting.

There are some real videography gold nuggets in this one (as usual): - 0:54 a regular person just does a zoom-in on that screen, Casey makes that vertigo zoom effect by moving the camera in while increasing the FOV (in reality the camera moves a lot further than it seems). Of course, he does this one handed while pointing at the screen. He also re-recorded reading the headline with a camera facing him, so he could cut between. - 10:49 there are a million ways you can cut between Doug thanking the crowd, and back to narration at the studio. Freeze-framing it on a screen and cutting to filming that screen so it looks like the camera pops out from the theatre into his studio, is perhaps the most creative (yet still pleasing) way to do it. There are no YouTube vlogs quite like a Casey vlog.
  • This is brilliant, engaging from start to finish. It's a fantastic life lesson. Plus, I ride a horse into my local Tesco's all the time. Me and Jeff are so similar...

Casey, I've been watching you for years, and this is the first time I feel compelled to comment because I truly appreciate the angle you've taken to defend what's right. There is so much wrong in the world, with rampant deceit, lies, and broken promises. I sincerely hope you continue to cover this angle on your platform, as the world needs more people like you to stand up for those who deserve it. Thank you.
