Is the Fortnite Battle Pass Unfair?

I am an OG, I have quite a few old skins from the battle pass, but I think FOMO is stupid. I think the old skins should be available, but people who have it OG get a special version or something. Like maybe with Peely, if you had it OG you get Peely with a Crown on his head as a style to show that you got it OG.

Yea I believe they should just be made available to everyone now. At the end of the day people who bought the battle pass paid less than the would be item shop price tag.

I still think the most valid response has been for BP skins to have a 1-2 year exclusivity period before going in the shop for a normal price of 1000-2500VB for Skins/Sets BP Owners still get an amazing deal paying 950VB for 8 sets of cosmetics and early access, but late players aren’t locked out of these items permanently

I wish there was a way players could have one chance to buy a previous battle pass skin that they hadn't obtained maybe due to a low level or just not playing at that time, although I feel it should stay the same throughout

They just need to remove the cars in the battle pass

100% it needs to change, for newer players like myself it sucks! That so many iconic characters are locked behind a battlepass from years ago that we have no way of obtaining now. It’s extremely discouraging, that many ppls favourite characters are in the game but, you have no way to earn them.

i think they should just give players the ability to purchase and level up old battle passes. Therefore they pay the same as the ones who originally got it, and they also have to grind for it. As simple as that.

Darth Maul is the best example. He was available in Battle Pass for a limited time. So people got him EARLY and CHEAP at only 1000 vbucks. And if you missed out you have to wait for the shop and have to pay like 2500 vbucks. But at least it's POSSIBLE. That's what they should do for ALL COLLABS. Keep Peely and those original skins locked, sure. But don't deny us the opportunity of collabs.

If they do get resold, old owners need to get an exclusive style. Ive always wanted blue lights on omega, and maybe another bonus should be given to those who got his lights

The battle pass collab skins should be released as normal skins but the battle pass version has an extra style or some different that you can only get though the battle pass

they should just do it how halo infinite does it where you can still buy older battle passes from previous seasons and you can allocate your xp to whichever battle pass you want

I feel like for one season, they should make it so you can choose any one past battlepass and then that’s the one you can grind out, this can still make the skins feel rare and special, but at the same time giving new players a chance to unlock one or some of their favorite characters.

I say there should be a way or option to allow access to every battle pass, perhaps after you complete the main battle pass of the season and any xp or levels you make will be invested in that selected battle pass. Plus this would bring back in a way the old Style Quest screen where even after the season was over for the skin you could still get its other styles.

maybe they could implement a system like the battlepass vaults from cod where you can buy a bundle of the specific types of cosmetics featured in each season’s pass. so if you want to buy the skins or wraps from a season like c2s4 you can buy that battlepass vault pack. but youd still have to pay for more than a battlepass.

Battle pass rework idea: be able to access older battle passes but it’s on à rotation cycle and last half the time of a regular battle pass (incentive to grind more and quickly) but to balance it you need to have a time battle pass ticket (these tickets will give you access to older battle passes and can be earned by the current pass)
