I'm not happy to hear about all the Round up use as you mentioned. I wondered why newly planted areas had all that bare dirt! Wow!

In 1970 was along on one of the Roney cattle drives, right thru what is now the Park Fire footprint. Wish I could recall the exact route, but I think we went through Butte Meadows. Went thru Chester over the causeway, then down to Eagle Lake.

Experience tells me it's going to get way way,way worse before it gets better!! Cooler air, next to the fire = strong winds!!!
