Fruit. Back before there was candy and artificial sweeteners, there was fruit. Back before there was sin, there was fruit. Somewhere down the line, someone decided that this was the tastiest part of the tree, and it has been a staple of mankind's diet ever since. Some people will swear to you that fruits are a collection of the healthiest foods on Earth. Some will say it's the secret to living a longer life. It's time to take a take a deeper dive into Mother Nature's wonderous treat to find out if she's really been feeding us right. Do fruits really contain the nectar of the Gods, or are they the least essential part of a balanced meal plan? Let's find out.

What I Would Change:
Those are specifically Dried Dates and Figs in the video. I failed to mention this due to how few times I have ever seen them eaten not dried.

All nutrient data is pulled from the USDA's National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference.

  • Yes, a Fruit Tier List Part 2 is happening. Leave which fruits I missed here and I'll cover them then!
  • So I have changed my entire diet based on this series. No joke, I’ve become hyperfixated on it and regularly tell my wife what tier my lunch was.
  • @BrianSmith1990
You could take the S tier foods from each of your videos and create the ultimate meal plan for a 2000 calorie diet. Keep up the good work, videos are awesome!
  • There’re literally nothing better than fruits, they’re so incredibly tasty yet unlike other tasty treats they’re so healthy, it’s truly a blessing that they exist
  • It would be great if you made a video about protein in general. Perhaps discussing things like different sources (plant vs meat), daily values, protein synthesis, etc
  • You're easily the most helpful(by a good margin) Youtuber when it comes to nutrition. Thank you so much for your efforts.
  • You should make a calendar thing with all your tier lists. I'd totally buy it and put it on my fridge. Or a book with the details for each individual food too
  • A cereal tier list and a superfoods/powders list would be fantastic (chlorella, wheatgrass, etc). Thank you so much for the valuable data!
  • Unironically one of the most informative/useful YouTube channels I have ever seen
  • @OooohhYeeah
As someone who has a limited budget for eating healthy, these teir lists are super helpful!! Helps me maximize my nutrient intake by buying what's the most beneficial !!
  • My favorite fruit is blueberry. I started eating them almost daily for the antioxidants and I love the taste.
  • This channel really has changed my diet for the better. Makes it so easy to get an idea of what I should eat more and less of. It also makes me feel like a character trying to max out my stats. Thank you Talon Fitness!
  • @MatthewSenneke
I love how detailed you are about what it has and what it does and also what the things it has does, thank you so much for the hard work you put into these!
  • LOVE your tier rankings! My wife and I have been almost binge watching. I have had to make some dietary changes recently and they have really helped me make some good choices. A couple of ideas for future videos: 1) Sweeteners - honey, cane sugar, Stevia etc. 2) Food lists targeted to dietary goals, e.g. weight loss, heart health, liver function etc. Thanks again.
  • How about a sweeteners tier list, perhaps in terms of what is least worst? Maple Syrup, Honey, Various Sugars and Molasses etc Might be a short one but I think sweeteners have their place as they help to make a lot of healthy foods more palatable.
  • @bswurve8957
i started lifting like two years ago and really made some serious gains once I started following this guys tierlist its epic
  • Thank you so much for these tier lists. I always wanted something like this to better understand the benefits of the food I’m eating or add a food I’ve been missing. Subscribed.
