I'm hesitant to say I enjoy such programming given the often depressing subject matter, but what you guys have done will stand the test of time. Timeless journalism. Well done.

Congrats Johns on the Orwell Prize - so very well deserved!

Hey, missed you guys in Anywhere but Westminster, please don't stop making this show. You're really giving a voice to people who've not been heard from. We need more of it!

I've rewatched videos from the series. I'm not even British. I'm Irish, but the parallels are there. I've got a good job, a home of my own, a pregnant wife, two amazing kids, but I can't shake the sense that there's so much wrong outside my bubble and I need to be better informed and start giving my time and energy to making things better for all. Thank you for this series and the introspection you've given me and many others like me who haven't been hard done by, but need to see those that have to know things need changing.

I’m American and just found this. I love this because I like to see what life is like truly in the UK. I’ve visited a few times and loved it but obviously vacation is much different from daily living.

A great series. Lived abroad for over 10 years. The deterioration in the UK since I got back is absolutely shocking.

Hi John and the team. I’ve been following your videos since I was 15 and is the sole reason why I chose politics and sociology as a degree which I started in 2017 and just finished. I can’t thank you enough for all these videos, every time they come out they inspire me about understanding the mundane which can teach us so much about the politics of the day. Please just keep produce these videos maybe focus on micro communities such as traditional market spaces vs newer trendier spaces and see how spaces compare. Also if there’s anyway to get involved. I’d love too, I honestly think this style of journalism is the best way to have debate and understand discourse. Please keep going. It will be interesting to understand urban spaces in a post covid world.

As an immigrant in London since 2013 I love this series, it's an eye opener, please keep it up.

Most meaningful documentary series in the UK. Fullstop.

The tinman is the best fucking human being on this shoddy island.
  • @springbok86
I don’t want to sound vague or greedy but I just want more and more and more of Anywhere but Westminster
  • @SuperMandelson
It is a great series, a shining example for the rest of the media to follow!
  • @Saysonow
6:29 That "Tin Man" would make an excellent Labour leader compared to Keir Starmer. I am gutted we don't have a fighting opposition that stands a chance in the next general election.
  • @PurityVendetta
As has been said before, if we had a lot more tinmen this grotty crumbling island would be a better place to live.
  • @jaykenny4205
Thank you for all the hard work you have done over the 10 years. Your videos are brilliant.
  • @hugo6071
Really. Thank you. I enjoy watching Anywhere but Westminster everytime a new video comes out. The way in which you show us how life and politics affects people who you wouldn't give a single thought to most of the time is an eyeopener as a viewer. Thank you for your hard work! Please continue this series!
  • @spewter
I’ve loved this series. It’s the one news source that I’ve come away from with a sense of what might really be happening beyond my own little world. Keep going!

The last decade has shown Labour has had it. Their appeal to the electorate has diminished to niche factions and they are unwilling to make change to make themselves electable. John Harris and John Domokos should explore what a new political party needs to be to appeal to the entire community and be an effective alternative to vote for.
  • @arc236
Love this series. It's a great body of work you've built up now. I hope you keep making it for another 3 or 4 decades. More frequent shows would be nice, if possible: I'm always happy to see a new episode uploaded.
  • Honestly the Labour party needs to drop the obsession with identity politics. In the post-recession era there was golden opportunity to shift economic policies left in a way that would have been impactful. This opportunity has been squadered. The country is full of people who don't want to be voting Tory but feel unrepresented by the Labour party. This has all played in to the Conservatives hands.
