I feel like when people make theory’s about whats gonna happen in a show or movie and the creator sees it I’d like to think they say “oh.. that’s way better then what we had planned”

I'd say Matt got like 10% right in this theory. Yes, Yelena is joining the Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers, but they're led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, not Ross (although the two may be working together). However, AIM didn't show up, supersoldier serum didn't show up, face-swapping didn't show up (other than the same masks as in previous films), there's no indication that Red Hulk is part of the team (the other member we know about is U.S.Agent, and trailers for Shang Chi imply that Abomination may take the "similar to Hulk" slot instead of Red Hulk), and we're explicitly given mundane explanations for Natasha's hair and vest (rather than those being hints she's really Yelena).

Marvel: Let's just throw a trailer with a bunch of random scenes in it and let the youtubers create our script.

In Endgame, her red roots grew out and Red Skull referred to her as "Natasha Romanoff"... If you're saying that's not her in Infinity War, I wonder what would be serious enough that she had to be switched during that time...

Had to rewatch this theory. Good theory; but, red skull calling Natasha by her name puts a giant hole right through this theory.

Well, this video certainly...aged... But honestly he didn't do half bad. ScarJo may not be coming back, and Secretary Ross may have had nothing to do with it, but Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine's appearance at the end of the movie, after showing up in TFATWS, is pretty concrete evidence that we're getting some version of the Dark Avengers. That's exciting.

Aww man...watching this in Dex 2023....Matpat was mostly right with the collapse of the MCU...but it just didn't go this way. Matpat's idea was way better than what we actually have.
