Hello everyone😀👋🏼 I was born and live in Yakutia, I also lived in another country for ten years. so I want to say that this documentary is quite darkly aesthetic, but it does not reflect the actual warmth that can exist in -50. Yeap, it is also very warm in Yakutia, and this warmth is expressed in people, in kindness, in love for nature, and in the desire to help anyone. We have a very rich culture and traditions. Yakut people are very close to nature, both in winter and in summer. Yes, we have summer too, usually it's 30 degrees of heat on average. In summer, we like to relax in nature, swim in the river Lena and sing songs to the guitar by the campfire.💕Welcome visit Yakutia.🥰 In fact, we are not so gloomy. Good luck and kindness to everyone!🍃

This is how a very good documentary should be done. No long intro, no loud music, succinct and informative, and objective. No sensationalism. Beautiful

I am wildly impressed by the people of that region. Their resilience, levelheadedness, down to earth attitude, problem solving skills... and so much more... yes, I totally admire that.

The fact that we get free documentaries from Free Documentary on YouTube is priceless ... keeping the education and knowledge alive. 🙏🙏🙏

Wow, and I thought Minnesota had wicked winters! God Bless these hardy souls!

Watching this as a Kenyan makes me to appreciate the hot weather we always have here all year. I love it hotter than colder🥶

For 80 years old, that first woman looks amazing!

Their coats and hats are so elegant

This is like a completely different look on life, fascinating. My heart wrenches for the frostbite victims, very sad.

So blessed I get to escape to Yakutsk with this magical documentary. Thank you

Это старый Якутск. Сегодня Якутск выглядит намного лучше и современнее. На видео Якутск 2000х-2010х годов, когда город только восстанавливали после разрухи 90х.

Watching from Zambia 🇿🇲

It is 10°c where i am now and i have been cold all day, i find it truly fascinating to hear people talking about -27° being a mild day 🤔🫣

Watching from a city called durban in South Africa. Also known as the warmest place to be. You can literally walk around in shorts and a T shirt deep in winter. Few years ago the lowest temperature went down to 9 degrees Celsius. Till this day people still talk about how cold it was that day.

It would be really interesting to 😂take people from the hottest place to this coldest place and examine their experiences
-
Omg... I can't imagine living there!!😢 I wish people of Yakutsk a good health!! Sending love from Tanzania 🇹🇿, East Africa.

Quality documentary. Got to laugh a bit to myself at the hospital staff member being proud of all the work he and the team has done, but leaving all the blankets open to the patients. No worries, it's only -50d C. (!)
