Your confidence being tied to having long hair is so relatable. A few years ago I donated all my hair (it was halfway down my back) and went ultra short. I realized how much of my confidence was tied up in having long hair and how I could still feel confident with short hair. Can highly recommend it!

As someone who's planning on growing her hair as long as it'll grow, possibly to the floor, this is really entertaining. 😂 There's a good reason why after a certain point, people braid and/or bun their hair up. No way would you drag it behind you on the ground like that. It was super adorable watching you run around Vegas like Rapunzel though! Love ya girly!

Hiii! As a clip-in hair extentions user I can tell you that the reason they were longer when you measured them might be because you don’t put them right at the top of your head, so the length you order is actually the strands themselves, but they’re gonna be longer when you put them on:) For real-life purposes it’s best to order them one „size” shorter than you think you want 😁

As a long haired girl myself I must say it would probably have been more manageable braided. That not only contains the hair better but also shortens it a bit.

I was a cosmetologist for most of my life and have done so many extensions...but years of that work has made me have injury and changed to a different kind of employment you brought back fun memories...

Loved the video! When I was younger I had hair down past my waist. It was really thick and so heavy. I cut it when I was in my late teens and permed (🤦🏽‍♀️) it. Cue looking like a poodle but I persevered and grew it out while continuing to perm it. I kept it long till I was almost out of my 20’s. After perming and highlighting it for so many years, it was not as thick and more than slightly fried! I looked like I had really bad extensions in and it was past my waist. I told my hairdresser to cut off all the dead stuff and ended up with hair just past my shoulders. The amazing thing was that I had naturally curly hair! It was beautiful but not as thick as I originally started out with so many years ago 😭 Hair is a funny thing. I don’t think we appreciate it, but place great expectations on it, to make us happier, prettier or even more confident. You have loads of confidence my girl! There’s no way I’d be able to maintain the scrutiny you had, while walking around. You ROCK!!

My fave moment was Target, Louboutin stilettos, and 76 inches of hair. You hit me in the feels when you shared your long hair = I feel pretty(gave you confidence) younger you. I felt the same back in the day too. Flash to you owning it at Target. Awesome. Now you're not hiding behind the hair, you're owning the insane experience and special of it. My 2nd fave moment. Tyler saying you would look beautiful with Amy hair length including bald, and you lighting up. As a breast 🎀cancer survivor , his comment was truly cool. You guys truly make a great couple. The long hair being a security blanket thing I relate to so much! I definitely think pop culture and media plays into it big especially Disney like you mentioned! Even Hannah Montana’s wig- that was my dream. Hahah I absolutely love this video, so fun !

If you get some of Rosemary (it’s a plant) it smells really good you put in a pot of water for maybe like a day and it might turn like yellow and then you put it in to a spray bottle and spray it on your hair after you shower (it helps your hair grow)

I had the long hair thing too until I had my head shaved for brain surgery. I had to learn to go out like I was sporting a look and try to embrace it. As my hair grew in, I started getting a lot of compliments on my cut. I can say I’ve had every length of hair now. At one point, I had waist length hair. It’s been about 5 years since my head was shaved and now, my hair is around my shoulder blades. I went to Vegas a few months ago and felt so hot I don’t know how Hope walked around with that hair .
