I had my hair permed crimpy in the early 90s, my mom was probably sick of crimping my long thick hair every morning before school so she let me get a perm 🤣 It looked exactly like what a crimping iron did. Most of the stuff you showed came out in the 80s/early 90s but had a resurgence in the 2000s. I distinctly remember having roll on body glitter in elementary school in the early 90s, particularly the Juniper Breeze purple one. 🤩

Those hair crimpers were around in the '80s. Aquanet, teasing, and those things gave us that huge volume we all wanted in the 1980s. True Story: I got a pink & teal Brooke Shields hair dryer sometime in the '80s. IT STILL WORKS!! I use it daily, and have for 40 years.
