Treat Farm Trail at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Empire, Mich. The 2.2-mile out-and-back trail passes the historic Treat/Tweedle Farm and ends with a towering overlook over Lake Michigan. Those more adventurous can continue the hike along social trails for about 1.5 miles to the popular Empire Bluff Trail overlook with sweeping views of the region. (Joel Bissell | MLive.com)
