- I'm sorry, I'm not available to do lines for videos anymore; I've gotten really busy :(

- I am NOT looking for animation or video help! I appreciate your kindness. I'm not in a place where I need to hire people, not even for free.

WHY DID THIS MAKE ME EMOTIONAL WHAT A GOOD ART TEACHER
  • @ipettynote
“CaN yOu DrAw Me?” You got cash? 💰
  • I wish I had a father like him. Even though she painted over that project, he didn’t get mad. Instead, he reassured her to keep trying. I personally would’ve loved to be in that class.😊
  • "Art has a dumb teenage face, it doesn't look right because it's not finished" some of the wisest words ever said because it works as a perfect metaphor for not just how illy saw herself but how alot of teenagers do (and maybe alot of other groups of humanity if we're really reaching.)
  • @KelseyAnimated
Art kids chilling with the art teacher at lunch, UNITE!! 👊

"Art has a dumb teenage phase. It doesn't look the way you want right now because it's NOT FINISHED." my gawd. That struck me ❤️
  • I truly wish I had an art teacher like that, most of the artists I had were mostly like 'okay we're sculpting clay today' or 'we're making prints today' but the one art teacher that I had, was my vocational teacher, who taught Commercial art. We called him Mr. B, so I'll use it here. He taught me the fundementals, told me about how I could use paypal to pay for my work(Which later got hacked but we don't talk about that) and kind of encouraged me in a way to actually take art seriously, and treat it like a trusted business partner and not just a playground best friend, if you catch my drift.
  • CW Death I don’t think I have the energy to type how much my art teacher meant to me. She taught me through 1st-8th grade and I love her so much. She died but me and my friends from that time still absolutely treasure her and I still have some of the artwork I made in her classes. 💚 love you Ms. K. She was also a coach and made an impact on countless lives. I’ll never forget her. Art teachers deserve so much more (funding, support, appreciation, etc)

The right art teacher can seriously make a whole world of difference! I'm glad that you found your Mr.Hudson in Highschool!
  • I had a Science Teacher that always wanted to study art, he told me on the day of graduation “Get that Art degree for the both of us - be the person that I never had to guts to become.”
  • @shonenbat6542
Having erased plenty of my own writing before anyone could see it I really felt it when you painted over your art. I appreciate your videos going into things like this.
  • @TheArchDandy
That's such a touching story. I hope he gets to see this, wherever he is. Teachers can be really incredible.
  • this is literally what teachers are meant to do, they're meant to be mentors and relate on a personal level. But the corporate world hates that so they just pack us into classrooms and keep everything strict and sterile and I hate it. Humanity wasn't meant to live like this.

Late to this one, but to Mr. Gilmore, my 6'5 Social Studies teacher who was also Air Cadet Commander and a Volunteer Firefighter in our tiny town: you may have intimidated the teens, but its because of you that I got my degree in Sociology. Thank you for making me passionate about how societies work, how fun it could be to write papers, and for encouraging me throughout the year.

God this video was so sweet it nearly made me cry, Mr. Hudson is a blessing of a man, reminds me of my spanish teacher, who, ironically enough, was known by the kids, as one of the worst teachers in the school, he was known for yelling, being grumpy and being strict, though looking back on it, this was probably because foreign languages were compulsary in my school, and most of the kids who didn't want to do languages ended up choosing spanish together so they could mess around in class, and somehow in increasingly obnoxious ways, yet, when said kids would suddenly all get "sick", you could really tell he cared for the class now that he wasn't having to spend most of his time telling them off, if it wasn't for him I probably would've given up on Spanish as I had always wanted to speak it, but was stuck with learning French instead (which is just, not a fun language imo) until we got to choose our options, meaning while everyone else had already been doing Spanish for 3 years, I was just starting, and the degree to which I was falling behind at first, really got to me, I thought I was awful and that me doing Spanish was pointless, and yet, one day when we were packing up for lunch, he just said something that, really impacted me "If I had a class of clones of you, teaching could be like a dream", and that really stuck with me, it motivated me to push further, and it was just moments like this, that pushed me to do as well as I did, I will always appreciate what he did for me, until the day that I die.
