  • I love how open your grandma is about her faith! You can tell it means a lot to her, as a Christian I appreciate her boldness to “give the Lord credit” ❤️
  • I’m crying and I’m 3 minutes in 🥹❤
  • How precious this video must be to you now that your grandpa has passed…💕 Abby, so sorry to hear of your grandfather’s passing.
  • I love how “grandma” has such a sweet, gentle voice. It’s the kind of voice that just has so much love in it, it can make any bad day better. Ya know?
  • You can tell how much Abby’s grandma played a role in her upbringing! They have the same mannerisms and talk so alike!! Love yall!
  • I'm normally a silent follower, but I just had to comment. This is SO special. So many people take for granted, getting to really know their grandparents' lives or never get the chance to because they pass away before we are old enough to remember them. I was very close to my grandma growing up and actually lived with her during my college internships, we were best friends. She was diagnosed with cancer last year in August and passed away a few days before her 80th birthday in November only 8 weeks later. I have never been more greatful for the nights spent staying in and playing cards with my grandma while others my age went out partying. I wish I could have videos of our conversations and laughing fits as the memories bring me so much happiness. Having your grandparents in your videos is such a special token to remember your relationship with. Sorry for the long comment, this was just so close to my heart. Thanks for being such honest and vulnerable inspirations, the world needs more families like yours. ❤

I love this episode- so many things in common with my grandparents! My family has lived in Phoenix for over 100 years. So my Papa grew up here WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING!! They hung wet sheets on their porch at night to cool down a bit but he said it was still awful! He actually had Polio as well and so did his 3 siblings. He always had the skinniest legs! And he was a news reporter when Kennedy was killed and was the first to print and pull it off the news wire. And now my mom still has it. We took him to the museum where it happened in Dallas and it was such a moving experiencing. And another thing our grandparents have in common... My Nannie is a twin (fraternal)! Her parents were 40 (mom) and 60 (Dad) when they were born! And no previous children! Her Dad was already retired due to diasbility. They tried to tell the doctor there was 2 but he insisted there was only one. He was white as a ghost when baby number 2 popped out! Grandparents have so much to offer! It's easy to see the impact they've had on who you are and that you have such a special relationship with yours! Thanks for sharing these absolute gems with us! ❤
  • @SamandEm
