I love how open your grandma is about her faith! You can tell it means a lot to her, as a Christian I appreciate her boldness to “give the Lord credit” ❤️

    I’m crying and I’m 3 minutes in 🥹❤
  • I love how “grandma” has such a sweet, gentle voice. It’s the kind of voice that just has so much love in it, it can make any bad day better. Ya know?
  • You can tell how much Abby’s grandma played a role in her upbringing! They have the same mannerisms and talk so alike!! Love yall!
  • I'm normally a silent follower, but I just had to comment. This is SO special. So many people take for granted, getting to really know their grandparents' lives or never get the chance to because they pass away before we are old enough to remember them. I was very close to my grandma growing up and actually lived with her during my college internships, we were best friends. She was diagnosed with cancer last year in August and passed away a few days before her 80th birthday in November only 8 weeks later. I have never been more greatful for the nights spent staying in and playing cards with my grandma while others my age went out partying. I wish I could have videos of our conversations and laughing fits as the memories bring me so much happiness. Having your grandparents in your videos is such a special token to remember your relationship with. Sorry for the long comment, this was just so close to my heart. Thanks for being such honest and vulnerable inspirations, the world needs more families like yours. ❤

I love this episode- so many things in common with my grandparents! My family has lived in Phoenix for over 100 years. So my Papa grew up here WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING!! They hung wet sheets on their porch at night to cool down a bit but he said it was still awful! He actually had Polio as well and so did his 3 siblings. He always had the skinniest legs! And he was a news reporter when Kennedy was killed and was the first to print and pull it off the news wire. And now my mom still has it. We took him to the museum where it happened in Dallas and it was such a moving experiencing. And another thing our grandparents have in common... My Nannie is a twin (fraternal)! Her parents were 40 (mom) and 60 (Dad) when they were born! And no previous children! Her Dad was already retired due to diasbility. They tried to tell the doctor there was 2 but he insisted there was only one. He was white as a ghost when baby number 2 popped out! Grandparents have so much to offer! It's easy to see the impact they've had on who you are and that you have such a special relationship with yours! Thanks for sharing these absolute gems with us! ❤

Oh how I miss my grandma!! The one person who never judged and when I told her at 17 that I was pregnant she hugged me and said I can’t wait to meet him ❤treasure your grandparents folks we don’t have forever.

can we take a moment to appreciate how early in the morning they posted this video. thank you for everything you do and all the hard work you put in this podcast Matt and Abby.💕
  • This is BY FAR one of my favorite episodes! I absolutely LOVE hearing our older generations tell stories! Makes me think about how simple life was ❤ I was definitely born in the wrong generation (but I’m thankful for medical advances in this generation)!
  • Matt & Abby I love your videos! This video with your grandparents is so wholesome and adorable! Why did this make me emotional to hear their stories ( probably the pregnancy hormones 😅) It is so crazy I first found you guys while I was already pregnant with my first son and you guys were also pregnant with your son. I’ve been watching your videos since because they were so relatable because we were due a month apart! When I saw your video about being pregnant again I understood everything you guys were saying about being nervous and freaking out because reality is that parenthood takes a lot of effort and teamwork, so I really felt for you guys. I couldn’t have imagined myself in that scenario (It is a total blessing, but a lot of work) I was so proud of you guys though and all your positivity. THEN literally a month later after seeing your video I found out I was pregnant again. I was literally so shocked like there is absolutely no freaking way… we were so careful. Did I like manifest this from watching your video or what!? 😅 So now it’s hilarious because I’m in the same boat as you guys once again. My little guy is 7 months and I’m 7 weeks pregnant. I will definitely keep watching your videos because now I seriously relate to you guys even more. This is going to be a wild adventure. Excited for all the love this will be bringing to our families though! ♥️ Love ya guys!
  • Your grandparents are literally such hilarious people haha. Can't wait for the laughs!
  • As a silent listener, I just have to say your grandparents are absolutely adorable. You are truly Blessed. They seem so kind and humble. As a fellow Christian, I love how they shared their faith and I look forward to seeing them in other formats.
  • @LilyRF

  • Abby's grandma is such a nice woman. She has this comforting vibe and the sweetest voice. Even her grandfather is so calm. Both of them are so cute. Love Abby's grandparents!
