    My doctor has warned me I am prediabetic for four years, yet NEVER explained that it wouldn't correct itself. I just thought I had to stay away from sugary things, never knew it was about sugar AND the amount of carbs you eat, WHEN you eat. etc. Never said I might have insulin resistance. I've had to find all this info out through internet videos like YOURS, Thank God you exist!

    I did. Prediabetes diagnosed in 2020. Now normal sugar levels for some time. These videos helped me. I was fat with 40 BMI no sports, not even walking, unhealthy junk food and sugar drinks. Since then i completely changed my lifestyle. I do gym 4x a week, martial arts trainings 3-4 times a week, quit driving car in the city and started walking a lot, my average is 13k steps per day. Much better eating habits and no sugar drinks like cola. I feel 100 times better. Last saturday i did 80km bike ride. Do it before it's too late. These things can improve if you don't let them go too far.

    Let me start by saying thank you Dr. Sten, you saved my life! And please keep doing what you are doing, you ARE making a difference, i'm LIVING proof! Thanks to your teachings i've lost a good 100lbs since January and my blood pressure has gone from 193/97 to normal and obviously i've never felt better. This is the third time i've lost 100lbs in my 52 years, I thought I was just born to be fat. I lost weight the other times by pure willpower hiking mountainous terrain for an hour a day and mostly eating whole grains and no fat. Basically I starved myself. Now I eat the way you suggest with very low carbs, garden grown veggies and more healthy fats than i've ever eaten in my life. Keeping to an 18/6 feeding window and i'm never craving foods like I have my entire life. It's a MIRACLE! Thank you again, my 84 year old father thanks you too, he's lost about 30lbs. I only wished I knew how to eat this way 30 years ago!!
  • As I walked out of my Dr's office I was reading my post visit summary. It said I was pre diabetic and obese. My Dr never mentioned it. I took control of my own health, first going keto and then carnivore with intermittent fasting. Months later when I saw my Dr for an injury I told him I quit carbs and I was surprised when he said " that's great, carbs are terrible " then when I told him about fasting it was as if a door opened and we had some great conversations. It was as if he couldn't, or wasn't allowed to bring these topics up himself, but it was ok if I did. This was at a Kaiser Permanente office and he was the lead Dr there.

    Well I have totally reversed my type 2. I lost 55 lbs. Work out daily. Changed my diet to high protein, moderate to low carb/low fat, less than 50g a day. No alcohol, no sugar, no processed seed oils, etc. No fast food in 18 months. I am off metformin, insulin, BP meds, etc. All I take now is daily cialis for BPH. Your videos and a couple others helped me change diet and life. I am 59 and look 40 now. A1C now is in 5.4 range and Average glucose down to 118. Still have some work to do. Thanks Doc.

    My doc mentioned that I was now just barely pre diabetic based on regular blood testing. She didnā€™t say anything about diet changes, meds, or ask any follow up questions. I fired her with a quickness and am now seeking a new primary care physician.

    In 2 months Iā€™ve lost nearly 20 pounds and my acne when from cysts to barely any th in fat all. I spent 20 years from 10 years old to 30 years old putting all this stuff on my face, come to find out I just stopped eating carbs and itā€™s gone. Freaking unbelievable. Thank you for the work you and other doctors on YouTube have done to help people like me.
  • I went to the dentist for 2 wisdom removals. They asked who my primary was? Dr. Sten Ekberg I said. 18 months Down 80 pounds A1c 6.3 to 4.9 continuous Nerves that were damaged but not destroyed in my left foot completely rejuvenated after 1 year. High Fat, Moderate Protein, very low carb. Removed Man made processed poisons. Feed in a 5 hour window fasting 19/5 religiously. Satiated without any hunger. 6000 steps Tues, Thurs & Saturday. Light weight training nothing extreme. For most no proof is possible, I was one of those until January 2023. Adaptations are reversible so easy a Caveman could do it. High Quality recovery is the reward. When you execute the homework Sten provides get ready for a big win. Thanks for everything.
  • In years past my Dr's never mentioned I was borderline diabetic. As I have learned thru time how to eat healthier ,I am now borderline prediabetic level. I am continuing to work on eating healthier. Happy I am going in the right direction.

    I went from 5.7 to 5.2 in 2 months!! Drank ACV (15-17mL) with 17oz of water or more water before and during meals. Ate veggies first like lettuce or cucumber. Then protein. Carbs last, if any. Walk 45+ minutes AFTER eating. Went low carb for the most part but still had my boba but 50% sweetness and only drank half of the drink. Drank the next half the next day. Iā€™ll eat white rice once or twice a week. Carbs make me soooo sleepy. I hate food coma, itā€™s not a good sign!!

    Hand surgery in ā€˜23 and antibiotics were in the IV as a matter of course. As a protective measure, I fermented organic apple juice in the yogurt maker for 48 hours along with Florastorā€¦Sacchamyces boulardi. This prevented GI flare ups. At age 81, Iā€™m protective of my microbiome. This was after months of eating L.Reuteri yogurt. I was pleased to get through this process without aftermath.
