Most trainers on these workout videos don't understand the emotional aspect of being overweight or needing a rehab type low impact approach to working out. Your self esteem is not where it used to be when you were fit. So doing this video and hearing his non- pushy, u can do it positivity really makes me do his workout everyday! Thank u so much u make my fitness goals attainable!🌟💯👍

"It doesn't matter how many times you pause, what matters is you finish with us" I love that!
  • I am a 12 yr old female and I know I’m quite young to be here but I’m 12 and weigh 187 lbs. I need to fix this and I want to love myself! I love the positivity in this video and how he’s not pushy about it. “Progress not perfection” best quote ever! I’ve always been bullied for my weight but he makes it seem so easy and I want to try this everyday! THANK YOU SM!

As a disabled person, hearing you say that movement is a privilege brought tears to my eyes. It truly is, and I am proud to be using my ability while I still have it. Your attitude and kindness is tough to find in the disabled work-out world, can't wait to watch more of your videos in the future!

I made it 13 minutes last time. Now I made it 16 minutes. I'll see you again tomorrow! Update: Made it to 17 minutes, 52 seconds. Update: After a year and an injury and some PT, I got back to this and today I made it through the whole thing without breaks (but with water!). It feels amazing. I'll still be back! Let's see if I can do it again! Update: This is now a regular workout!
  • First time, I found exercises for REAL beginners. No burpees, no jumps (try to jump with 30kg overweight, and ask your knees how about that)

I’m a 17 year old girl from Japan who has severe depression and anxiety. At 12 I’ve attempted suicide from the amount of bullying I went through from my classmates and teachers just because I could speak English and because I didn’t think like them (cause I was raised in another country I guess?) I stopped going to school and now I’m slowly healing. Today I started my fitness journey here and completed everything with small breaks in between. I have felt proud of myself for the first time in a long time. I still have a long way to go but I will try my best to take care of myself more from now on. His motivational words almost made me cry during the workout too. Thank you so much❤️

The fact that even he is sweating makes me feel better with myself 😂😂

This is the first "beginners" workout video that hasn't scared me with tons of high kicks and lunges. Thank you SO much for this encouraging, non-judgmental, positive workout! I will be coming back tomorrow!!!

"Progress not perfection" Whenever I hear him saying this, it brings tears in my eyes. As far as I remember, I hated my body, never liked the way I look and always wanted to be skinny like many girls around my age. Since social media brought face-tuned perfect bodies, my body images issue got worse, I tried extreme diets and starved myself for the sake of having a skinny body. Even thought I lost lots of pounds, I never found my body looking better and then went back to emotional eating and gaining all the pounds I lost back. Now working on my body-image, trying to be kind to myself and overall accepting what I have, how I look and overall who I am as person. It is really freaking hard. But trying as he says it is progress and not perfection. I'll never be perfect but will be better than a day ago. Each time I exercise with you, I cry at the end, telling myself that I am proud of myself which is really hard for people like me struggling with self-love/confidence/respect. Thank you so much Daniel not only for showing these great moves but also touching the deepest parts of our hearts with your motivational words. You're the best.
  • I stumbled upon this video just before Christmas of 2021 and absolutely loved it. Then at Christmas I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I continued on with this work out all through my chemo treatments. Sometimes I could only get through the first 15min and other times I was able to complete the whole workout. Radiation is next for me and this will still be my go to workout. I love the energy and personality of the trainer and I love the presence of both Lisa and Natasha. Thank you all for inspiring me. I'm a warrior!

Dear Trainer, you are amazing! Not yelling, not telling to lose that ugly fat or anything. But being so gentle yet motivating and encouraging. Thank you very much for the work you do! It brings to tears and makes love our bodies even more, not hate them. This is awesome. You are awesome.

I"m a 60 year old obese woman with a very bad knee. Been fitting to work thru this all week, and today, I made it all the way thru. Thanks for posting this video. It is exactly what I needed!!
  • @littlefish79
Thank you. Finally, a workout that doesn’t insult my intelligence, that makes me feel good about myself while I’m working out, and that gets me sweating and the the heart pumping.
  • @donnafrank9240
I like the fact that you have real women exercising instead of models I can relate to them made me subscribe
  • @Kknderbueno
I literally cried at the end of this video. I have never cried in a positive way while exercising, but this video was something I could do and was so motivational. Thank you so much. <3

I’m over weight and didn’t even know where to start. This video helped so much and I’ve never been more proud of myself. I’ve never been able to finish a exercise straight through and I finished this one. Who ever thinks they can’t do it, if your reading my comment, you can do this. All it takes is hard work and determination. Good luck on all of ourjourneys
  • Made it halfway for my first try! Update: I decided to finish the second half!!! 10/1/20 Update: I did this workout the full way through!
