  • Living in Norway witch has the highest % of electric cars sold in the world I am very proud to own 4 ,15+ year old cars, all running on petrol 😁Thanks for a good video👌👌
  • Spot on Paul . You said what I didn’t have the words, or platform, to say .
  • Excellent, informative rant (while not frothing at the mouth or getting all shouty like a...ranty person)... Really enjoyed this. The info, the science, the edit, the monologue/narrative. I hope many people see this. And I hope you get lots of "BUT YOU ARE WRONG AND HERE'S WHY" comments so that you can make a follow up video responding to them, with more facts and science, for us to enjoy. Nice Easter Egg in there 😎

Cant believe as soon as I clicked in this I got shown an add for an electric car. 😓 Ironically the UK have just upset the Argentine givernmey again over us potentially drilling for oil in the Falklands. Our government probsbly only wamt the oil to sell anyway.

We won't need cars soon. Thanks to our glorious new leaders we will all have happiness and joy in our hearts, free money in our pockets and each our own personal unicorn to ride about on. We are truly living in an age of wonder!
  • @thtmotoring
Looks like we’ll have to keep the older cars going which suits me just fine 🙂
  • @SmashingPistons
An unusual style video for you young man, and it worked really well. Very good. Have a gold star. (Not a goldstar, that's a motorbike)

I will never give up my Volvo 850 t5 estate auto. I love it.😊 And if they will try and physically take off me, then I will personally deliver it to number 10s front door!!😊
  • @Dino_Dad.
Captain this is such a great style of video for you. I really enjoyed it. Has a Scotty kilmer rant style about it. Other topics done like this would get you more subs I reckon 🦖👌
  • @mg-roveradverts
Toyota won’t give up on ICE the chairman said that in an interview that the consumer should always have a choice of how there vehicle is powered
  • @Jonnymorocco95
How will the deprived areas and countries such as Rochdale, burnley Pakistan ect afford the changes to converting to all electric ?

The problem we have isn5 petrol or diesel, is consumerism. If people stopped demanding a new car every two years we’d be much better off as a species. Someone I know buys a new Nissan Squashcat every two years, always the same car, often in the same colour, seems rather a waste of money and resource to me. And also a sad acknowledgement of his inability to keep his 2 year old car nice. If people stopped buying half a ton of Christmas tat, stopped buying clothes and wearing them once, stopped buying things they see on tv but never use, we’d all be better off. If we stopped building massive supermarkets on the edge of town and had more smaller ones near where people live so those with a car could perhaps use them less we’d all be better off. If the people who insist on driving everywhere thought about it and maybe walked to the chemist or the kids to school instead we’d all be better off. If more journeys were made by bike instead of a car, even a motorbike or scooter we’d all be better off. If the car manufacturers stopped making their cars so big and heavy we’d all be better off. Park a Mk2 Golf next to whatever the new one is and the size difference is absurd. But ultimately for me it comes down to consumerism. The cars of today aren’t that more advanced than cars from 10 or 15 years ago, the main difference is they are massive now, with fancy lights and full of tellies instead of dials. They can ban diesel cars if they want, though who ‘they’ are and why they don’t want you moving around independently creating lots of lovely tax has never been explained to me. I’ve already got one and when it dies I will buy another. And when the diesel cars run out I’ll buy a petrol one. I know how to take care of a car and I don’t care how old it is as long as I like it. I can also start a fire without matches, catch fish, cook without a microwave and tie knots so I’ll be ok when the revolution comes.

Paul, everything you said was spot on. The one crucial thing you missed was that the only real problem with the ICE is the FUEL it runs on is what actually causes the pollution. Switch to an alternative less polluting fuel and the pollution problem is a long way to being addressed. Such alternative fuels do exist. The only obstacle to altermative fuels is that the oil companies are having none of it and will stop it at all costs. The guy who invented a car that ran on water died in mysterious circumstances. Here is a link to a video about one such alternative to petrol: https://youtu.be/MNrGZC8h4Fg?si=PCBO0zVgT04WM-q1 EVs do have their place but they're not a one-stop replacement for ICE vehicles. It is insanity to throw away a technology whose biggest problem can be easily addressed.
  • @Karl_Burton
I told another UK YT'er the aim is to get us out of cars, before "he eventually realised"
  • Careful Paul, with that sensible and obvious rhetoric the men in black may turn up at the yard!😂
