I’m glad that we have the full song uploaded by haditonvinyl. But, the fact that he marketed his song to be a lost song was quite deceptive, and he made things worse for himself.

At least How Long Will It Take wasn’t a hoax when it was found. It would’ve been so sad given the fact that many fell in love with the song and the search for it last for 16 years

Unless he’s using some clever reverse psychology, Carl loosing interest with the EKT search gives me hope that he’s not the one behind the song! Alas, hopefully Digital Girl can be a cautionary tale to all musicians of what not to do!

I was never following the digital girl hunt. Something about it felt too modern to be as described. I didn't think a hoax necessarily, but knowing that it is one doesn't shock me.
