Alright alright, if we think about it for two seconds, Carl92 did the best thing by not saying anything. If he gave more info about the song and where it came from, we would've found it instantly. Think about it. There would not be any hype around it, the pink boombox would have never been it's iconic face, and christopher would not be remaking the song as I am writing this comment. Yes, it is embarrassing for Carl92 and that was dumb from him to do that, but that was the best thing that could've ever happened to this search. EKT is iconic now. (Sorry for my not so perfect english)

There's still so many lost media songs waiting to be discovered man. Ekt was definitely a journey, but I'm so happy it was found after all this time.

Was waiting for youre vid on this and also since Chris Booth has acknowledge the search of his song he is planning on releasing a full remastered version of this song, 2024 is a great year for EKT fans or should i say EKI since Chris confirmed its "Everyone Knows It" and not "Everyone Knows That"

I’m actually quite sad the search for EKT is over, it was always so exciting when new leads would be discovered. Hopefully another song as catchy and mysterious as EKT will pop up so we can search again.

I saw Christopher Booth Saint´s social media and he appears to be very happy about the find, to the point that he is gonna release a new version of the song. That is what makes me the most happy about the Lost Wave community - we give the spotlight to obscure artists/former artists whose work would have fallen forever into obscurity if it wasn´t for the investigative efforts of some terminally online individuals.

My theory is Carl92 wanted to find the name of the song without anyone knowing where he heard it; in other words he knew exactly where it was from, uploaded a snippet "he found" (making sure he chose a segment that didn't sound like it came from a... yeah) and then expected someone to answer quickly before anyone would notice where it was from and then delete it before it attracted any more traffic. Unfortunately for him nobody knew that song and thus his fate was sealed. I think this is the reason he went completely dark; basically his plans didn't go according to plan and he was exposed in the process... Again, that's just my theory lol.
