I believe the directors of this film said that given that this is a trilogy, this would be considered the Empire Strikes Back of the Across the Spider-verse trilogy. In the comics and games, Miles does loose his father as that's his Uncle Ben moment I believe. Should be an absolute banger of a film.

I'm not ready for this one either. I could definitely tell when the teaser dropped that it was a good likelihood that his dad was dead (possibly). Now whether it actually happens based on this trailer...sigh... I believe in Miles. He can do both!! ๐ญ My heart!!!

I donโt think Spider-Man 2099 is the main villain, I reckon itโll be โThe Spotโ because thereโs a scene in the trailer where there are loads of spots, like a vision being shown to Miles by Miguel ๐ this film is gonna be ๐ฅ
