The actual character of Miles Morales would not exist if it weren’t for Childish Gambino. He did a skit where he was in a Spider-Man outfit on the show Community, and fans petition for him to be Spider-Man in the new movies. Sony already had in mind a younger white Peter Parker, but some great comic book writers were like “yeah…. Let’s make Spider-Man black.” And Miles Morales was Born. In movies, anything tied to Miles always has Donald Glover in the movie to honor that.

Fun fact: When Gwen returns to her world and her father walks into her room, she shoots the penguin stuffed animal. The penguin stuffed animal is a reference to Gwen from another universe who is a penguin. This Gwen exists in the Peter Porker universe and is known as Spider-Guin

The thicc yellow spider woman is just a nameless OC created by one of the art directors, Kris Anka. Her art suggests she has fire powers. I'm sorry to inform you that she apparently has a boyfriend in the spider society.

I just realized something. How long has Miles been awake for? He went through an entire day in his world all the way into night time, traveled into the afternoon in Mumbattan, continued into the afternoon again in Nueva York, and then returned to the nighttime in Earth-42 Manhattan. He’s gotta be awake for like 18 hours or something

FUN FACT!!! the 37:20 part where Miguel injects something, its a robotic micro, spider serum, as in a man-made spiderman power!!! and y'all need to remember, he is from 2099, a future where spiderman is a myth! 46:19 the "Spider-Rex" a universe where the meteor DID'NT hit earth, where a pterodactyl ("Pterodactyl Parker" is his name, and a T-Rex named "Norex Osborn(?)" not sure on the name), they get hit by a asteroid, and hey get powers WHILE ALSO switching bodies. the trex gets the spiderman pattern skin, and the pterodactyl now is the green goblin! (there's also a giga/rex venom, and a few other villains)

"What's important is not standing by while allowing someone to suffer or die because you do nothing if you don't get that, then you don't know the first thing about being spider-man." -spider-man edge of time I kid you not this quote came to my head during the "intervention" scene and as a long-time spider-man fan, it made the experience of watching this movie in theaters much more epic

Not alot of ppl noticed that white and red suit in the background when miles met miguel, that's another one of Miguel's suits, it's more powerful than his blue one

Bro was right. Pete B. Parker’s daughter is also an anomaly. If she hadn’t traveled to Miles’s universe he would’ve never gotten back with MJ and had a kid. Maybe they’ll use that against Miguel in the third film.

In case you didn’t know, in Miguel’s original universe, his daughter died. So that’s why when he found that opening the the universe where another him died he took it. And when that universe got destroyed that broke him because he basically lost his daughter twice.

Everyone thinks Gwen and Hobie are dating but Hobie is actually her Wingman/big bro looking out for her and shipping her with Miles he’s a GhostFlower shipper

Miguel has fangs but is not a vampire and he wasn’t gonna kill vulture. He uses it to paralyze enemies. It was just a joke by saying that he is like a vampire since that Vulture is European and vampires originated in Europe.
